Wish they just put the desert price without the container, spoon or "complimentary giant rare diamond". It is just like saying the "$300 million = worlds most expensive chocolate" that comes with a Picasso painting. Kind of pointless.

It makes me sick to see that while the children are starving, on the same planet, someone is eating gold. Having the money to eat gold, I would help someone. it is beyond me and lifts my heart to see how wasteful resources are just to satisfy the disproportionate ego of certain narcissists at the expense of people's lives.

I have been to Tanzania all on my disability check and I needed no help and I didn't have to purchase a $60,000 absurd ice cream sundae! I have lived all over the world on the money I make and I can make when I decide to stay in the country by writing cookbooks and food columns and selling local Foods such as spices. Be resourceful and do it on your own! :-)

I love good quality chocolates. I don't like regular candy bars like Hershey's. And my favorite chocolate is dark because I'm more about flavor than sugary sweetness.

Considering some of the worlds richest men comes from such poverty that, in one case, he couldn't aford shoes, and in another case, he was chinese and didn't speak english when he moved to america.... Many of them used to be ridiculusly poor... I'm not so sure it's a lack of fairness, so much as a lack of effort and/or belief in those who stay poor. (Barring third world countries to some degree... Tho it wouldn't surprise me that even someone from a poor african country might one day become a millionair, if it hasn't already happened.)

While there are filthy rich in the world who could afford these fancy desserts, a lot of ppl on the planet are dying of hunger and lack of basic necessities. Agreed, that these novelties are crafted from rare and expensive ingredients, plus the required skills to make one, I wish the world were a slightly better place for those who are struggling. Anyways, this video is informative on the lines of options for the opulent.

Some people can afford to spoil themselves, I am jealous... Love the cupcakes The Golden Phoenix Cupcake for $1,000. dollars from Dubai seems to be extremely creative with name and decoration. An interesting choice and perhaps is affordable compared to other desserts. Certainly love them all, I can afford one with my stimulus check from the Government now.

How does Gold become edible as far as I know Gold is metal that is mined,so where do they mine the edible non metal Gold 🤔
Real Gold is actually edible in small doses. Many minerals are a natural part of the human diet, funny enough. Although the Tudorian belief in the health benefits of gold may be highly overrated. You get gold leaves by hammering out gold until it becomes ridiculusly thin, and use extreme care to put it on, since it's so thin that it rips apart extremely easilly. Or you can rip it up and pour it in wine. (As King Henry the 8'th liked to do every morning. Amongst many 'medicinal' herbs.)
Serious question for people that could afford these things... are these foods just a novelty thing or do you really shell out the schmeckles for this regularly?
