- Some clips filmed mainly on the far north line during the autumn of 2023 and winter of 2024. We see mostly class 158s doing their thing north of Inverness. Also included is a clip of some Avanti West Coast Voyagers leaving Carlisle, something which no longer happens.

Some lovely footage. Especially like the shot at 07.05 at Kirkton.
Spectacular filming from beautiful scenery! I wonder if Network Rail decided to have the wigwags at Kirkton LC aligned portrait instead of the usual landscape because, they didn't want anyone to crash into them or bang their heads on them? 😂 I suspect 158722 was withdrawn soon after due to the power issues and at Kinbrace, love how the bright spotlight comes on and shines down on the crossing, almost like a Theatre performance?
All nice videos jamie. Poor 722 though. Kinbrace level crossing sure is down for a long time before train shows up and i didn't know the 4pm wick to Inverness train just passes fearn
Thanks Rachel, yeah the 1600 from Wick misses out Fearn, Alness, Conon and Beauly and the Ardgay to Inverness train calls at those stops 40 mins later
