I once recorded my son the Cars movie and others on a VHS tape because he really liked to watch it. It's much easier to use a VCR because you just insert the tape and it plays itself. When it's finished, that VCR rewinds it, ejects it, and goes off.
I use a Raspberry Pi 3 running OSMC. Besides the HDMI output, it has a P3 (3.5mm) output to connect directly to the VCR, and you can play any type of file. It's a great option that uses little energy and works very well. Just a tip!
Its so fun to convert the digital videos to vhs and back. It took me so long to figure it out without tutorials but i figured it out and now it’s easy. If I ever win the license plate, could you sign it perhaps?
"Recordable VHS tape", wow never heard one referred to in that way, been talking to too many gen??? that have no idea? I was kind of expecting a request like that from my church, lots of oldies in there, however none so far. I did one for myself ages ago by burning a DVD then copying that to VHS, years ago we went on a church 'retreat' and they had some ancient kit there, so a VHS with everyone there on it sounded like an idea, pity it gained no traction.
I don’t know why I said that. It’s hard making videos and not saying stupid stuff. But it got a comment! So WIN! The videos that get the most views on RUclips are the controversial ones. Or the ones where people make mistakes. Some Weird stuff on here
Well it’s just a long tape.. I only have one vcr that will actually rewind at the end of a tape and then restart on its own. I think it’s broken. But I think I’ll use it for that one day.
