"Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world." - John 16:21 ❤
The burning is when the baby is crowning! They call it the ring of fire. I finally felt that with my 4th and wow does it burn! So glad she came safe and sound. ❤
I am so happy she is here safe and sound and that the delivery went as smooth as possible for Soph.. Congratulations y'all!! ❤❤❤ She's a beautiful little Angel!❤❤❤
Mary after Jesus mother! Beautiful baby and beautiful name. Congratulations! Prayers for continued progress in recovery! Also Soph… mad props for pushing with little to no pain killers!
Such a beautiful family! The Owlet Sock literally eased my mind at night when my babies would sleep. It monitors the baby’s heart rate as well as oxygen and will alert you if something isn’t right. It really is a wonderful peace of mind as a parent!
Isn’t it amazing how you “forget” the pain and ready to do it over. I had my first unmedicated due to several failed epidural placements but was so excited to have another one. It’s God’s gift to have a precious one and I swear he designed us to “not remember “ all that pain so we would have more. 💕 Mary Maryn is a good southern double name.
Wow this literally sounds like my story. Induction, was flipped on all 4s at one point, got water broken, pushed my baby out within that hour (45min for me). This was my first as well. It was CRAZY! Congrats guys!!!
I love it too ❤ and she is so precious. I also agree that if they would hyphenate her name, people will be more apt to call her Mary-Mahryn, a perfect name for a perfect princess 🩷
I got my ablation for my heart about 6 months ago and it’s been amazing not having anymore issues. And I just found out I’m pregnant so I’m glad I did it when I did!
Congratulations on your bundle of joy 🩷 just a tip that I did with my girls, when I felt they were a little jaundice. I sat them in the sunlight so like in a there swing by a window that had sunlight so it lowers the Billy ribbon. Also I used the owlet both times with my babies. It just a piece of mind to help you sleep at night knowing she’s okay especially with the spitting up ☺️
So happy for you all! It is so nice to see the example you are setting for young Christian families. Love you all! Welcome Mary Mahren (hope I spelled that right).
Soph, I LOVED hearing about your story. With my 2nd child, I did her all natural. HOWEVER, 4 hours of labor, I’m like “no, I want a epidural please!” And they checked me and was like “NOPE…Need to push now” 🤣. Felt like a gun to my head. BUT I’m glad I experienced natural on my last child. My 1st child I tried to do natural but it hurt too bad (6 weeks early and was induced) so with him I had epidural after 5 hours of labor (total 10 hours of labor).
Im so HAPPY for you guys... She's ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 😍 ❤️ and I love her name! Taylor is right you should DEFINITELY put the hyphen in MARY-MAHRYN !(I hope I spelled her name correctly, Such a BEAUTIFUL name!!) CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 Sending many prayers 🙏 ❤️ for you all! 🎉
Oh yeah sounds like my 5 births. I dialated to 4 and boom 10. never had an epidural. also preemies come quick so just a few pushes. You did amazing and an over all fast for a first delivery. Congratulations God Bless you and your beautiful lil family mama ❤
I appreciate your story! It’s educational for new moms and this is how my birth went. Not exactly but very very similar. Except I had a positive birthing experience with my epidural so it sucks that you didn’t.
We have similar endings! I chose no epidural, but when I was at a 7 my full bladder was in the way. So I went empty my bladder, and 45 minutes later I’m a 10 and she was crowning. It happened so fast I also have faded memories lol. Congrats to y’all!
Great video. Mary is so beautiful ❤️. I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the great job 👍. As I am at the hospital with my mom. Cause my mom is stage 4 Breast cancer. Later today the nurse will be putting a feeding tube in my body. God bless you and your beautiful family 🙏❤️.
Loved watching you through this journey! Her name is perfect! I love hearing how involved Taylor is, you both show how proud you are of each other. It’s going to be a super Christmas for you all( grandparents, aunts, and uncles included!!! God is so good!❤️
Awesome birth story guys ! Pretty typical for the dr to only show up when it’s time for the baby to come out. Happened with all 3 of my births. The nurses do like 90% of the work. Lol kudos to them.
Omg let me just cry and go get the hubby😂 I need another. My baby is 5 now and was 5lbs 5oz and was 19' born at6:30am. Omg... But so happy healthy mama and healthy baby❤❤❤
Psalms 139:13-14- 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Have a blessed day❤
Can totally relate. I was so scared I was going to mess the bed in front of everyone lol but next time definitely get epidural. I had one and it's sooo much more of an enjoyable and memorable experience as it should be❤
I’m cracking up, I remember telling her my butt hurts 🤣 I thought the epidural had stopped working. She informed me I was 9.5cm and it was babies head, I would’ve never known 🤪
It’s so funny that you mentioned how people say you forget. I will never forget the birth of my first son, but I just decided I didn’t care. The pain was worth it all. I went in to be induced but only made it to 4cm before they decided to put me in for a C-section. Right after they got him out of me, my epidural quit working for some reason and I could feel everything. It was so scary and painful. They were shoving oxygen masks on my face and I felt like I was suffocating under it. I could feel all the stitches and staples. It gives me the shivers just thinking about it. But, here I am, pregnant with baby boy number 3, and would happily go through it all again just to bring him into this world happy and healthy. ❤️ 2nd c-section was a beautiful piece of cake, so I’m not really worried it will happen again, to be fair. 😂
My dr always called that draining their bathtub😂. All 4 of my babies came within minutes of my water being broken. They really didn't like having their water taken. 😂
When they told you being to numb will make it harder to push that is not true I was completely numb and couldn't feel anything. I pushed my son out in four pushes with no problems.
Hi Guys- This is an amazing story. You guys are amazing. Soph she is beautiful. Just a little hint hint. you need to journal this and write your experience . Just for years to come. just a thought
Oh yeah girl, I did all natural for baby number 2 at a birth center and that feeling of the head is definitely in the backside, it was very shocking for me, you dont even feel it in the front until the head is like crowning. Whew, so painful and so intense...
I'm still young, but the thought of one day giving birth to my children terrifies me mostly because of the pain, can't escape it though, you gotta go through it. 😂
Oh god. I had a 4th degree episiodemy. They sewed a piece of gauze to my body & didn’t realize it. I couldn’t be released bc I had a high fever. It was from an infection from the gauze. I ended up staying in patient for a week!!! Was a thing of nightmares
I had almost the same experience. I was 6 cm dilated with my 3rd when they broke my water I thought I had time so I called my baby sitters to talk to my.other daughter and I remember the need to push like 2 minutes later..I ended up hanging up the phone called back 10 minutes later and I had a little baby in my arms.

They’ve said in a previous video they have her by the window a lot and it has been helping!

Oh yes, after they break your water it's crazy how fast it goes! All the prep meds just all of a sudden kick in! Protecting Mama and baby ❤

We had the same thing happen with our 3rd baby! He didn’t get the “big squeeze” to get all of the extra fluid out. (He was out in 3-4 pushes.)
Congratulations she is precious
Can totally relate. I was so scared I was going to mess the bed in front of everyone lol but next time definitely get epidural. I had one and it's sooo much more of an enjoyable and memorable experience as it should be❤
