I’m in the Spelman College Glee Club (alto 2!), and this is one of my most memorable trips yet. We all cried as we sang goodbyes after the broadcast! Thank you for welcoming us and showing the love of Jesus ❤️

We were blessed enough to choose to come watch Music and the Spoken Word in person this day. It was absolutely beautiful! The Glee Clubs also honored us with more songs after the broadcast was over. What an honor! I know I shed a few tears, and could hear others around me doing the same.
Wish I could’ve been there. What did they sing? I’ll bet it was amazing 🤩

I think that your rendition of “What A Wonderful World” is the best I’ve ever heard. Shout out to the guest instrumental soloists on that too! The gospel songs were performed so tightly and your combined version of “Come Thou Fount” was truly inspiring and divine. Thank you also to Brother Newell for your uplifting words and to the behind the scenes folks for the lovely autumn/nature visuals. I loved every minute of this program and can’t thank you enough. My heart and eyes are full. What a beautful and amazing combination.
First, the students combining their traditional folk music in African-American spirituals with the amazing jazz genre and top tier classical training. Wow!
But most important, Spelman and Morehouse studens combined their voices and their faith with that of the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra. You are our future. A future where differences are causes to celebrate rather than divide.
This should be an annual experience...what an opportunity to bless the lives of so many people.

Been a big fan of both Spelman & Morehouse and have been following them from London since I discovered them in Lockdown. Fantastic music and guests. I listened to Holy Holy Holy on a tape at Christmas on my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Japan years ago. It brings back mission memories! ❤ These guests can really belt it! Great spoken word message and colors. Thank you. So uplifting. ❤❤❤❤❤

I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many joyful faces before during Music & the Spoken Word. I agree with a previous poster that it would be wonderful to bring these choirs back some future year for one of the Christmas Concerts.
