    I like how you mounted the hardware on the backside and nothing on the very front of the top peak. For mine to be portable I am going to make the feet attached the the arch with a bolt, painted black, with washer and nut on the very base of the feet there. For an extra measure i think I am going to drill a whole in the front and backside of the feet so a stake with a washer can be placed and drove into the ground for security in case its windy on the day of. Will not be noticeable or maybe even needed but to have that ability I think will help for extra security. Then I will just screw that back 45 degree mounts at the top peak on site when I get there, much like you have shown here. Nice work

    It looks beautiful! I wish for the sake of the tutorial that there were more details and a list of materials😢 I couldn’t find it!

    I appreciate this video. It helped a little while we built my sister arch for her wedding. However, there was a pause in the video regarding cutting the angels for the peak. There needs to be more explaining about that. We tried twice how you explained, and it wrong twice. Thanks tho!

      Just line up the two outside corners of the 2x4s (the peak of the triangle) and mark a line on both of them where they cross on the inside. Draw a line from the mark to the outside corner of the board and cut there.

      @@TheInexperiencedAdventuresThanks for the video!
      Im doing test cuts right now on some scrap and having the same issue. When I go to join the cut ends the triangle ends up way wider than when I drew the marks.. I know it's not rocket science , I'm just not sure what I could be doing wrong. 🤔🤔

      @@TheInexperiencedAdventuresyeah but that doesn’t account for the degree of the boards going down. That’s the issue I’m currently running into in my shop. You can like them up and have it angled any degree….i saw another video saying 60 degrees. To closely follow it you would need to know what degree.

    Is there any way you could write down the exact sizes you used and how many of each? Great video tho!

    getting married in September and making our triangular arch this weekend. I wrote down the materials needed that you stated, but curious... we're wanting to make ours 9ft x 9ft because we're tall and want to see the florals and such behind us on the arch.
    would I still get (1) 12x2 or would I need a different size for that? I know nothing.

    Hi! Looks great! How much did this project cost?

      @TheInexperiencedAdventures  2 года назад

      If you start with nothing and have to buy everything for it...I'm not sure the exact number but maybe$40-$50. I really don't remember the numbers on this.
