Next pizza day, make your pizza your normal way….except…… put all your toppings on the crust after the sauce and then top it with your cheese…so the cheese is able to caramelize on top of the toppings!!! GOOOD

Russell, you brought back child hood memories of a place almost exactly like that in the woods where I grew up in East Texas it was a very small spring, with the leaves and colors like yours. My dog and I would just sit there it was beautiful. We would take off rabbit hunting and end up there. Like you I have taken my 4wheeler to places and through stuff that no one in their "right mind" would go. You still eat to good. Have a super blessed week. God bless in all you do.

Enjoyed this video as do them all from your channel. Yeh man that is what strawberry 🍓 plants do, they send out runners and when long enough and away from the mother plant the runner will make contact with the ground, develop roots and you have a new strawberry bush.
Have you and city girl ever thought of starting a Hugelkultur mound or bed. Might be another gardening option for you guys, Once set up Mother Nature does most of the work for you. I have one here in Aus and works well. I remember Shawn James did one a few years back. Cheers 🍻

Your property is beautiful even more so in the fall thanks for bringing us with you on the ATV. Put salt lick on a pole . I can see it would have been tough to film for sure well done. Wow, there are areas of your land that I have never seen on this, I do believe. Did you take the ATV to the trail cam the way you usually hike there? I guess I have seen it, if you did. Have you ever gotten lost on your property? I think you have at least two ponds on your land, maybe more.
I've gotten lost with my dad on our farm in the blueberry marsh part of it. The marsh was probably at least 50 acres in size and stretched over several farms but was not arable or pasture land. As I recall we weren't lost too long as we went the right direction by looking at the moss on the trees, which is on the north side. We could then tell we needed to keep that on our left to go west, also the way the sun was going. We did come out a little further south than we thought we were. We got two huge buckets of berries.
Speaking of berries, strawberry plants put out runners similar to a spider plant. One of the runners rooted in the other bed, I bet. I hope that blossom will turn into a berry. You will have to coin toss Alicia for it! Have you had first frost yet, doesn't look like it.
My backyard gives onto an alley that is down an incline from a huge Best Western hotel. Behind the hotel and stretching to the east is a large hump of treeless land. I started going up there yesterday but stopped because it got really steep. I think I can make it with my trekking poles, tho. There is a grassy trail that the deer have made. It will have a beautiful view of a mountain that I could see from my previous deck. The motel blocks that view from the backyard. 😡If all goes well, I think I will hike up there whenever weather permits.
    Pea soup!

The common practice here in the Nordic countries is to cut off a birch tree or some other deciduous tree about 1,5m up and put a metal pin in and put the salt lick on it. Rain will then wash the salt down the stem for the smaller animals and have the animals eat the bark away, or one can cut the bark off for optimal placement, having the salt permeate the wood. This is a common practice of hunters to supply moose and other wildlife with supplementary nutrients. Then you can watch and keep track of tracks around the spot to see what wildlife are in the area during the year.

You coud use a goatmower. I see disaster running a lawn mower in that rocky, viney and weedy garden area. But a good goat could clear the area of the weeds. Though you would have to protect the plants you are growing for food. It might even keep the ticks down. You could also get milk if you get the correct gender.
