    Congratulations! I really enjoy your videos and I'm looking forward to seeing your macro photos. I am at the moment considering buying a macro lens and I'll wait to see what you think of the 90mm

    Well done to OM Systems for finally recognising Chris's talent and collaborating with him .... Chris - can't wait, its gonna be interesting to see what you come up with 🙂

    Congratulations Chris! Great OM System reached out to you! Nice opportunity too!
    Beautiful work you showed here! I like long exposures! They spread a kind of tranquility 😍
    And in a previous video you told why you use the bracket the always you do. But do you know there are great solutions for that? If you like search for example to a NiSi Wizzard!! I like it 😀
    There are more manufacturers who build similar brackets…
    Tip, compare the price in China. I got the NiSi there a lot cheaper than here in the Netherlands or by Amazon 😉

    Great Video! It is nice seeing someone sort of... maybe kind of.... on the same journey as I am. I have been using the OMD E-M1 MKll for a couple of years now and pulled the trigger on a OM-1 MKll at the beginning of December. The Live ND and GND sold me on it, and the Starry Sky Focus (cant wait to try that out). I love shooting waterfalls and doing long exposure stuff, but its a bit of a drive to get to the ocean for me, luckily I have some really great waterfalls within 15 minutes of me. After watching this video, I am going to have to dust off the filter pouch and start using them again. Last night I actually used the OM-1 MKll for the first time at my other photographic endeavor.... Concert Photography. It did great! Keep the videos coming, cant wait to see your thoughts on the those lenses they are loaning you!

    Brilliant work with the full sun Chris, and great to see OMS has spotted your relaxed and informative videos. Just sold my OM-1😢 thought I'd just stick with my Sony A7riii. I immediately regretted it and seeing you at work confirmed I'm an idiot! Looking forward to seeing you use the extra LND in the mkii, cheers John

      Seems very familiar to me although in a different field. Years ago I thought it would be better to get rid of some books as I had so many. Not two weeks later I felt like a complete and utter idiot because I needed the contents of one of the books I had given away to the local library. The reason why I will never let go of any camera 😅

    Surprised it took OM Systems so long to reach out as you are probably the greatest (and best) exponent of the OM systems currently showing on RUclips in the UK. I have the Mkii with the 90mm f3.5 macro and looking forward to see what you do with it. Well done.

    Hi Chris I really enjoy your films, as much for the travelogue and crack, as the photography. In this one I like the the picture of the groin you were sat on, with all the colours brought out by the sun . All the best Bri😎

    I'm not surprised OM System contacted you. Your style of delivery, added to your settings advice and undoubted ability would be a magnet time any brand. I'm a catholic taste in my shooting - if I like it, i shoot it. I'm exploring the long exposure stuff to try replicate what you're doing, ATM.

    Congratulations on the OM Systems collaboration. I enjoy landscape photography and I'm not a big fan of those type of shots where the waterfall is milky smooth.
    Your videos have encouraged me to try some long exposure fine art style shots.
    I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the macro as that is not something I have tried

    Fab news on the OM collaboration Chris and really well deserved, you’ve put bags of effort into your channel (not to mention road miles!). And….. I’ve been thinking of investing in the mk2 so really looking forward to what I know will be your honest review👍.

    Your videos arewell-made. You’re an advocate of micro 4/3. I don’t see why you wouldn’t get the accolades and or the recognition that you deserve from OM systems. Congrats on having the OM1.2 to to experiment with and get a sense of its capability. I’m looking forward to your consideration of how much you like the OM1.2 compared to the original OM1 camera.

    well done. Love the idea of collaboration. I live in the flat south, nr Southampton, so the new forest is my go-to for imagery and getting out with my 'new to me' e-m1 mk3. Which I love! Keep it up Chris.

    I stumbled upon this video in my feed, I'm a beginner photographer and this video about long exposure got me excited! I have a canon 4000d, so glad you mentioned your settings aswell to go manual would these settings work for me as well or specifically for the Om?

    • @Bigfarmer8
      @Bigfarmer8 5 дней назад

      The Canon 4000D is a great starting point in photography and will give you great result as the sensor is just the same as the models above. Since the Canon has a slightly smaller crop factor (1.6 versus the 2.0 from Micro Fourthirds) you should use a smaller aperture. So where Chris uses f5 you probably should use f8 to get a similar result. Hope that helps.

    To be honest, Chris, I enjoy most of your videos. You have access to such a variety of scenery in Yorkshire so, for me, the location and your photography thereof is more interesting than any particular style of photography. It's great that your expertise and presentational skills have been recognised by OM Systems and I look forward to see what you make of the OM1 Mk II. I have an EM1 Mk III which has live ND and is more than adequate for me but I am interested to see what you make of the macro and 8-25 lenses. Thank you for all the work you put into making your videos.

    Great shots. I generally prefer black and white. Wish there were a dedicated black and white M4/3.

    • @JeffreyJohnsonC
      @JeffreyJohnsonC 9 дней назад

      They all have a black and white mode. There are also black and white filters in the cameras. If you want dedicated black and white only, you'll have to go Pentax or Leica.

    So happy for you to get that recognition from OM System Chris! Very well deserved I think!
    This video gave me inspiration for a photo that has nothing to do with long exposure or the sea. Funny how the brain works but all the more clear that your videos are important to me.

    We know what happens when photographers collaborate with manufacturers: they become part of the corporate advertising.
    Companies give free/loaner gear because they expect favorable reviews from these influencers.
    If we expect unbiased and honest information we shouldn't applaud any corporate collaboration.
    I wouldn't trust anyone who doesn't pay retail, like the rest of us.

    It's ok, but I wish it would make it darker like a physical filter. I tried it on blurred people with clear train, but the filter didn't do it well. Just too bright

      @ChrisBrown-gu4ki make the waterfall rough and the water below the end silky 😍 so basically 2 exposures 😊

      Having just bought the OM-1 mk11 I’ll be really interested to see how you adapt to those lenses. Having only two m4t lenses the 12-45 Pro and the 14-150ii so far due to migrating from Pentax I’m looking but undecided as to what to buy. I used to shoot predominantly aviation and nature but since moving to the coast I’m now trying and enjoying long exposure plus birding.
