- so like I said. I'm not sure this will make sense to anyone else. Most of the meaning is in the lyrics.
It's about Cinderella struggling with her past and how it affects her future because her past is still so strongly apart of who she is.
She's falling in love, but can't bring herself to trust him or marry him because of what she endured as a child.
So as the song progresse and the sepia scenes fade, she's letting go of the pain of her childhood in order to move on with her life and love.
Any tips? Suggestions on how to make the story clearer?

i think it is pretty clear, because of her parents fighting and her father being so hard on her she is kinda uneasy about letting the prince in. very well done
Also because of her being abused by Lady Tremaine.
The song is actually about abuse
I really like this video in general as it, in my opinion, achieves something the original story does not. It gives Cinderella a depth of character she lacked, but by giving her a back story beyond the dead parents it gives her something an audience can actually relate too.
I liked it. It showed me a good and easy meaning. It tells me that you should just move on and forget all the bad thing in life.

I love this video, it is simply awesome. I get identified with it so hard. It is always hard to let go those bad memories when you saw what love can make to a person and to a family, it is always hard to remember that what happened to your parents wont nessesary happen to you.
I hope no one feels like this.
Sadly, it's all too common. Not just with myself, but with so many other children of broken families.

i get the story: her BF asks to marry her she said no and run away, she don't want to, her mom & dad frighted a lot and she don't want that but she slowly lets him marry her and they have a happy life the end that's the story!!!

Both. Most of the time, the father is blamed for a child's attachment issues, but I wanted to capture how the mother can affect it as well.

I watched it before I read the description and understood everything, it's very well made
it's a bit of both. Her dad wasn't a nice guy to say the least so she didn't trust men because of that. But how her mom relied on her as a child just made things worse and ended up making her completely jaded and unable to love. Or at least believe she couldn't love.

No, I think the problem has more to do with her mom. Her mom had really bad love life choices and would confide in Cinderella about it from a young age. This caused her to have to emotionally take of her mom. It also made Cinderella not trust men. Idk, it's just what I got out of the video.
