Masha is the best RUclipsr for bracelet tutorials! She has everything and her voice is so pleasing that it makes me want to watch her videos just because. She's awesome
Just my personal preference, but I like to use a clipboard (I use the normal size but a mini one works well too of course) when I make bracelets! It keeps the thread SUPER secure and when I make tutorials, I’ll tape it to my surface so that it doesn’t slide around. :)
How do you do the loop half n half? Usually for loops the string is folded in half so it's easier but since you only need one string of each color (instead of having two when you fold the string in half) I'm confused how you do it.

Heyhey she has a video on in with this exact bracelet. But basicly you spilt the threads and kind of fold them together so that you have '1' string with on 2 sides different colors
@ thank you for your reply, i was wondering this same thing! Could you possibly link a video or give me something i could search or explain it differently because i dont really understand
I've made something similar to this -- but with a solid color on one side and alternating colors on the other. The sides cross over as part of the pattern (It's an "alternating chevron". I've also started using one of the colors on one side of the wrapped loop and another color on the other side of the loop. Looks great!
I like how you highlight the pattern to show exactly where on it you are working. That plus keeping the pattern visible onscreen are both helpful. Thank you!
Long-time lurker, first time commenter and first of all I just wanted to say thank you so very much for reintroducing me to bracelet making again. I used to make some many years ago when I was in secondary school but haven’t tried it in forever and there are so many more designs out there now than I remember there being (Alpha bracelets being an example that weren’t widely made when I was younger). I love the dramatic contrast of the rainbow colours against the black and white in this bracelet and plan to have a go at it myself once I’m more confident in my knotting (just need a bit more practice in getting the tension just right). With regards to your sellotape v pillow problem I thought I’d suggest a macrame board. They are about £10 - £15 (so a clipboard from WH Smith *would* be *much* cheaper) but the board has slots all around it to hold the threads you’re not using taut, or out of the way depending on what the pattern requires, so you may find that useful too. Anyway I just thought I’d throw that out there in case you were looking for other options also and thanks again for all your tutorials. Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Kind regards Piper
Incase anyones wondering how long the strings should be, here’s what I learned from all the comments I could find answering this question: *Take a wingspan, then fold it in half and you’re done.* Ps: Wingspan is the distance between the length from the end of an individual's arm (measured at the fingertips) to the individual's fingertips on the other arm when raised parallel to the ground at shoulder height.
@@juliasaraiva9146 still. just a flag. if someone gets that upset about it honestly. no disrespect but.. they have bigger issues to be worried about than a flag.
@@tiyaku just because there are children starving in africa doesn't mean im not gonna be sad i cant afford to eat for a day. also, i could look at a cross or a pentagram and say "it's just a symbol" but i don't do that because of the context behind it. straight flags are a huge disrespect to the lgbt community. if you don't get why, id be happy to explain it, but don't say we're just being sensitive when that's not the case.
how do you make the tear drop loop for the half n half chevron? i know how to make a regular tear drop loop but i can’t figure out how to make the half and half loop! 😂
Really wish you had shown how you make the loop witha bracelet that the sides are diffent. The way i believe you show in your teardrop tutorial just shows when your folding the string in hald am i correct?
Masha knots you said that you are trying to find out I thing to film on I have tried a pillow and a table with tape but the best thing that work for me is a clipboard that I put on my lap or the table
Can someone please explain how she splits the strings? Like she only has rainbow on the left and black and white on the right and in the video she's already done the teardrop so I don't know how to do this!
May I ask how did you make the loop with different colours on either side? I'm not sure if I missed that part of the video but I've got an asymmetrical bracelet like yours with an even number of strings but the colours are different on either side, and I'm so confused as to how to make a loop for that. Help!
You should do this bracelet but instead of black and white you should do a reverse side of the rainbow so instead of red starting it you can start with purple then blue and etc
You can use those clipboards to clip down your bracelet! I found it very useful and it has a 'calm' background. I think you would like it!
No
Yes, this works! Another solution is using a binder clip and what I do is clip my bracelet down on a hard plastic binder! Hope this helps anyone
*tape*
I use a clipboard, because i think it works the best!
@@boostudios2123 she said it didn't work
Heard her basically say “don’t do this if you’ve never made a bracelet!” But since I’m stubborn imma try anyway :)

Can you make a tutorial on how to make the wave friendship bracelet
Masha Kasych I thought she did.
Masha Kasych Kinsey B also has one
it’s rlly easy it’s just forward knots till u get to ur first color, and the backwards knots
@@Kelly-te2mg that's a different video (I think)
Masha Kasych there is this RUclips called Kinsey B. Sh also makes bracelets she has a wave tutorial
clip boards make it very easy but a binder clip and any hard flat object works just as good!
Thank you so much ive been looking for this tutorial but I couldnt Find it! I love you and your channel💗✌🏻

Thank you :) And I'm glad you've stuck around!
You can use a clip board. But if the clip board starts moving just tape it down to the desk.
How did you connect the 2 colors on the loop? Did you knot the strings one by one or one big knot with all the string to connect them. Thanks
ima try this soon! also 7 minutes after posted YES! love u masha

How do u close the bracelet with the tear drop loop???????????

How many strings do you use for each color?
How many pieces of string do I need to cut??

Could I start this bracelet with just a normal loop or just a tie?
hihi i’m excited
You should do this bracelet but instead of black and white you should do a reverse side of the rainbow so instead of red starting it you can start with purple then blue and etc
You are the reason i do friendship bracelets
Can you do inverse chevron? Or did you already do one if so can you link it? Thank you! 😊

hiii! so how do you measure the thread to make it a loop bc you have to have two things the of the same thread
First I love you so much
How do you connect the different color strings for the loop? It’s bot like you can fold them because they will come for the two sides
3:24 If you don’t want to do the teardrop loop.

Practice! Try doing a candystripe with BKs only
use a clipboard and put fabric or something on the part that clamps down so it won't cut your string
can you explain how you made the loop for this one
How do u make the string different color in the side
What length of strings should be used?

The pattern link doesn't show the white in the pattern... it's only showing the rainbow and black...
Try using a clip board so it doesn’t move

How did u get the half and half loop, i can make a normal one but i get lost with the half and half
