I'm not an it girl, and will never be, but i love your personality. A lot of it girl habits are things every average person should consider incorporating into their life. I make my bed, i wash my face and brush my teeth 2x a day, I've started wearing my expensive perfume daily (burberry her, love it), I've really focused on keeping the house clean and lighting candles. I almost have contempt for myself, i dont think im worth the time or effort because i am not conventionally attractive regardless of the amount of effort i put in. I'm now, at 33, learning skills that teenagers are figuring out on their own lol.

0:52 tbh people do get pms during luteal phase, but the EXPECTATION of "luteal phase will always be awful and HAS to feel bad" plays into this, you let yourself feel worse than you normally would because you think "i'm in my luteal phase, it's justified!" which is why these tiktok cycle syncing trends can be harmful imo. when i get emotional pms symptoms i tell myself "must be pms" and try to brush it off the best i can but the more you feed this cycle of emotions because you think you can't control it, the worse it gets. we should stop making young vulnerable girls who consume this content feel totally powerless in their own body, it's our responsibility to set a good example.
