Astonishing! I've heard (and seen) myriad child pianist prodigies on RUclips. They are all very talented and deserving of high praise. For me what sets George apart from the rest is the maturity, the uncanny depth of interpretation far beyond his years. The others are agile and have no problem hitting all the right keys on the piano but their emotional connection to the music is lacking, to my ears at any rate.

This piano, moreover, has a beautiful and clear sound and the acoustics are just right. The young performer of course is a musical genius. He gives us a glimp of how Wunderkind Mozart must have been, who was not only a piano-player but first and foremost a composer of an incredible array of music.
Thank goodness this was captured on video in a venue with good acoustics. Am newly subscribed and already hooked starting with the oldest videos on this channel. While the train station videos are fun, so much gets lost in the din.
