Solid list, for sure. My absolute favorite breakfast/brunch spot is The Shore in the Renaissance hotel downtown. Everything on their menu is elevated in a way that only a truly well-trained chef can do. Fantastic atmosphere, too. Absolutely the best breakfast, brunch, and lunch in Reno, no question.
Born and raised here, have eaten at all of these places several times, and yet still when some out of town coworkers came to stay and wanted breakfast I found myself hear exceptionally grateful to have you reminding me of all the amazing options we have!😂 Thank’s for the help and great video!
If your really from Reno? Then Reno and Sparks are the same city. I've been here over 40 years. If it works, it works. I've always went to Jack's coffee shop. I've been here so long, Jack himself would come and sit at the table and start asking how is everything. He was a decent guy, and was a damn shame when he died.
@@PB-420 I have live here since 1989. No I wasn’t born here and I always lived in Reno and mostly South Reno so I don’t know the old school Sparks restaurants as well as you do. No need to say, “If you’re really from Reno.” I have lived here going on 36 years and been in real estate almost 30 so I know the area very well. Thanks for watching and maybe watch a few more prior to judging me.
I wasn't judging you, lol. I was only saying Reno and Sparks are all one place to most of us. And I was giving you a spot in Sparks that's been there since I was a kid. Easy bro.
@ my bad and I appreciate the recommendation. Yes it’s all one place to us but to people moving here they don’t know that yet. Coaching them up on Nortnern Nevada. Thanks.
Funny story about Jacks Coffee Shop. It used to be a Pizza Hut back in the early 80s. My little brother and I used to sweep the parking lot and clean the windows for free pizzas after school. The house we lived in was on the corner where a taco restaurant now sits right next door.
They are open from 6:00am till 9:00pm close for breakfast. They do serve lunch and dinner as well! Prime Rib or Steak and Lobster as well! Like I said awesome menu and great prices!!!
@@scottbordo because we are a real estate channel talking about all things northern Nevada. We don’t have time to go to all these places and take photos of the food.
This review doesn't include The Cup? What the hell is going on here? It's a local classic. Squeeze In is good. Two Chicks is solid Perenn is tasty but super lofty. Pegs is way OVER glorified. Stonehouse - it's breakfast. Meh. Brasserie is an overpriced hipster dump, private well and all. Needs to get over itself and so do the regulars.
