I caught this tour in Chicago that year. They had Edgars sound quite low. And it was a bit of a mistake of purple to try and follow Alice. Great show all around though
I was there, too. Fantastic evening of music. One of the non-standard shows where both Sheryl and Calico are on stage. Edgar is always fun to see, and the guys in Deep Purple always look like they're having a good time. Especially Steve Morse .. he never stops smiling.
