- Hi RUclips, here is a cover of 'Frontier Village Dali' from Final Fantasy IX on viola, violin and piano. This theme is so relaxing =D
I wanted to feature all three of these instruments and the different tone and texture they produce alone and together. I hope you enjoy!
Krissalad's skills on the piano were both technically and musically excellent, and it was great working with him. He is one of my favourite video game musicians to watch - so please check him out.

You know, I've been thinking since I listened to this the first time... I used to play piano quite a lot. Started in 5th grade, hit my peak in 9th and I've all but stopped by now... I think part of the reason I stopped playing (and part of the reason I started) is because I don't have really anyone to share my music with. You made me realize that part of what I really want isn't just to express myself, but to collaborate with other musicians. I think that'd light the fire I once had.

This is fantastic Chris, you've really embodied the feel of this piece and elevated it by employing real instruments. Uematsu has a knack for these peaceful, slightly morose compositions, and his choice of sound adds to that sing-song feel. You've done well at preserving that quality here while modernizing the piece, yet another under-appreciated Uematsu work.
Legit brought a tear to my eye, breathtaking.
Gotta say, it's nice to see this song get some love. Pretty underrated, imo, and you did quite wonderfully.

Good arrangement, becareful bout your phrasing on viola bro. It doesn't seem like dali at all. And i doesn't expect any modulation, great job!
Nice. A bit hard to hear the violin over the piano though.
