- Met another nice guy and skilled fly fisher from the AOF. We ended up getting skunked after exploring a new stretch of the Red Deer River but on our way back we passed a guy who gave us a few tips and another spot to try.
The next morning I got my shoes wet again as i set out to finish this video for you. And I'm glad i did!
If everything goes well i'm currently on a trip catching Big Pike and Walleye so i'll have another exciting video for you soon!

You gotta tighten your drag to prevent the line from becoming messed up. Awesome video man!

Do we need licence to fishing in red deer?
Yes a fishing license is needed to fish anywhere in Alberta and each body if water has different regulations so make sure you google the fishing regs for wherever you're planning to go.
