This is so exceptional on so many levels! It's not just the music (as wonderful as it is)... it's the respect, the sense of enjoyment, the friendship, the love. It's sublime.
👏👏👏‼️thank you for one of my favorite videos! I always encourage reactors to check this one out. Stevie was so inspired by Albert, you can hear Albert when Stevie plays. I love how Albert told him it was in the key of G and Stevie heard a few bars and started playing as if he knew this song which he didn't. I love Stevie's look of a kid in a candy shop just being able to revel in his Idol's shadow. Albert was also enjoying the heck out of Stevie's playing. 🎸🔥‼️. Another really great song from this session is Texas Flood. They really trade riffs back and forth even having to get up to standing wailing away. So hopefully next you are in the mood for these two giants, I hope to hear you react to that one. Love your respect and appreciation for Stevie's unbelievable talent🎸🎶🔥. That is why I became a subscriber✌️
They did this after Stevie performed a full concert they said that when he finished his concert he headed right over to the studio and recorded this session concert which you can get on DVD now.
You filled this gloomy rainy day over here in Chattanooga Tennessee with sunshine with your reaction to SRV!! I love this session with Albert King. I’ve watched the whole hour and half. But never never get tired of watching SRV!!! I just love all of your SRV reactions. I binge watch them on your channel over and over. Thanks!!!!!
SRV ~ 🎸🐐 To most, Jimi was Stevie's #1 influence, but all one has to do is watch this session and you can see right away that Albert was his #1 influence. Plus, Albert was Stevie's godfather.
Okay Hippie Joe again, for another great blues collaboration check out Buddy Guy & Stevie Ray Vaughan (CHAMPAGNE AND REEFER )also just recap of Tedeschi.Trucks (ANYHOW live in studio) or BLACKBERRY SMOKE ( SHAKIN' HANDS WITH THE HOLY GHOST ) after that I'll introduce you to Widespread Panic another southern rock band. By the way you do know Derek Trucks is the nephew of drummer and founding member of the Allman Brothers, and Derek was an official member of the Allman Brothers for the last 12ish years . THANKS ...PEACE

"Albert King didn't like anybody, but he liked Stevie".........Jimmie Vaughan (Stevie's brother)
