The U.S. Women's National Team closed out the 2023 campaign with a pair of victories over China PR in early December, highlighting by a thrilling come-from-behind win in Frisco, Texas and a game winner from hometown kid Jaedyn Shaw.

What I like most about this is the "we're just getting started" perspective. Yes, these games were great to see, but there is a lot more to do and, most importantly, this team can do it. I loved when Rose said, "We're winning this game." That's a winner's attitude. I'm excited for Feb. Have a wonderful break ladies ❤

Sam Coffey’s goal in the second game against China was chef’s kiss. 🤌🏼 Sonnett’s perfect little pass to Sam and then Sam just chipping it right over everyone’s heads. So good! It tied up the game and gave us the momentum we needed to win that one, plus it’s so well deserved for such a hard-working, talented, but often underutilized player. Get it, Sam Coffey! 🤩👏🏼

This is an exciting time for the USWNT! So much potential and so much uncertainty for the Olympics roster. Assuming everyone is fit, I can maybe name 5 sure-locks to make the starting lineup in Paris. Crazy! I’d be interested to hear what 5 locks to make the starting lineup others are thinking.
