The Stars line Hintz, Robertson and Pavelski are all on my Fantasy team and they put up crazy numbers for me and crazy how consistent they are.

pavelski is amazing
I feel like Crosby is beginning to get underrated. He’s absolutely carrying the Penguins and in general he’s still a top 5 player in the world.
Caps fan and I somewhat agree. Weird for Crosby to be in that spot. Guess it stems from him having been out with injury for so long.

Seider (at 20) gets the nod over Zegras since he’s a defenseman, and a good one already. Much more impressive to be a top D-man at that age than a scorer.

A lot of people are gonna get mad in the comments over the Fox/Makar debate. You solved it right there: they are both exceptional players. A Stanley Cup final of Col vs NYR would be sooooo much fun because of this duel.

Shesterkin is a beast. I don’t argue with that and he could become the best goalie in the world.
“Could be” but draisatl is arguably the best player in the world right now... he just gets overshadowed by McDavid even tho they play on the same team and draisatl is literally out scoring mcdavid in goals and points

A bit sad if Jumbo and Chara retires after this season, I mean obviously it's about time for them, but they will then be the two last players in the NHL born in the 70's. If you look back there are some pretty solide names born during that century. Jagr, Lidström, Iginla, St Louis, Forsberg, Selänne, Brodeur etc.

Shesterkin has been unbelievable this season, hopefully he at least gets nominated for the Hart trophy! If he keeps up these kind of numbers he will finish with the best season ever recorded by a Rangers goaltender. How fitting would that be after we just saw the retirement of the king’s number! Hank can sleep easy knowing Shesty is back stopping this team🙂
To be fair, zegras has been carrying the ducks so he would be my pick for the best 20 year old this season but you cant go wrong with moritz seider

Zegras is exciting yes, but he's no Strider. Mo is an elite player and I bet you will be Norris trophies in his future. Seider is amazing at both ends of the ice, whereas Zegras is not as good defensively.

@@FalconsLedge IMO Zegras is a better candidate for the Calder. Hes ability to play with the puck is only matched by his creativity. Kaprizov won the Calder last year because of the same reason.

They need some love. The Stars(as frustrating as it is to watch them can't make up their minds if they want to win or lose at games) are criminally underrated and tend to be left out when they show games on tv(unless it's our local channels here in Texas) or when teams are discussed by different sports newscasters. Also when highlights are shown. They tend to always show the same teams for those highlight reels and I'm tired of it. They need to expand their horizons and STOP talking about the same teams all the time. Boston, Washington, Pittsburgh, Las Vegas, you get my drift. There are 32 teams in the league(so far). Time for the league to stop showing favoritism for those few teams and START showing love for the other teams as well even if the Stars aren't mentioned all the time. Just give us variety every once in a while. Go Stars.
To me, Anton Lundell has been incredible this year. Not many 20 year old guys are that consistent on both offense and defence.

The Avs might be my favorite team but I kinda want the Panthers to win the cup, for Thornton but also because I'm a Quebecer and seeing Huberdeau and Duclair win it too would be great
W for choosing fox over makar. so many people are so quick to say makar is better than fox because he can score flashy goals but they completely overlook their overall games. so i’m glad you didn’t.

I get your point for seider but if Lundell had as much icetime as Seider his expected points would be 19 points more, and this is old information from like 2 weeks ago.
Zegras plays 0:59 per game more than Lundell and they're tied, and Lundell doesn't play pp.
He is a center, obviously it is expected he will have a higher points percentage for given time on ice. He is also on the best and highest scoring team in the league. Lundell is great and a certain draft day steal for Florida but that argument does not make sense. If it were only about points then defensemen would almost be entirely excluded from the Calder/Hart/Smythe trophies(they are already to a certain extent because of the bias towards points).
You should’ve had Josh Anderson as an honourable mention for 27 years old, he is having a great season

Shesterkin is great, don't get me wrong, but I have a hard time ranking him over Mack and Drais because they've been proven commodities while Shesterkin is only breaking out this season.
I’m a Ranger fan and agree but I do think Shesty is turning into his own version of Lundqvist and will do great for years to come but I think Mac or Drai deserve the top rank for now

idk who to go for it's between these teams which ever ones get the most comments I'll go for: The Wild, Rangers, Avalanche, Flames, or Boston I was born in Connecticut moved to California for a bit , and now live in Montana I have watched hockey casually for a while just never found a team, so that explains a little bit. I want a consistent team that's at least in it every year. Also a team that has a pretty strong fanbase that will make going to games fun. Feel free to mention more teams as well, great vid!

I think if you're just looking at talent, Hughes over Seider. I know he's only played 28 games but he has 27 points and imo is the best player on the Devils. Maybe you can make an argument for Hamilton being better
Ya but unlike hughes, this is seiders first season and if youve seen seider play he’s absolutely amazing to watch both offensively and defensively. Hughes is good but for time in the league and experience considered seider is better

@@kylemayer8486 he didnt come right into the NHL right after his draft. and he plays on a much better team then Hughes has gotten the past couple of seasons. and he is bigger, which does help him get more points then Hughes did when he came into the NHL

I'd take seider too. Defensemen don't get enough love because they don't score as much but in terms of impact, being played against the best lines in the league night after night, he's amazing. Just watch him play. The guy is being compared to a young Nick Lidstrom

Rangers probably might have one of the best nhl roster currently. They have 3 people on this list, Fox is an amazing defensemen who is a very outstanding playmaker. He also has a amazing backhand shot. Panarin is also such an amazing playmaker especially with Chris Krieder. Shesterkin i can argue for is one of the best goaltenders. He is putting high numbers on his save % and low number for his GAA (exept for Ville Husso only because he played around 15 games unlike shesterkin with playing about 30).

I would be genuinely gutted if the Canes traded Sebastian Aho for ANYONE, but Matthews is the right answer at 24. If you went skater at 26 it's almost certainly MacKinnon over Barkov. In a top 3 at each age I expect you'd find some Finns.

If he’s talking about how Seider has been more important to his team than zegras or Hughes or whatever, then how is Robertson more important than Quinn Hughes? I get Robertson is great, but he’s put great offensive numbers yet again and has been quite solid defensively. I just think that he’s a top 8 Dman this year and needs to get more respect for how good he is

Because Makar and Fox are super interchangeable. I know Zegras is more flashy, but he went with Seider because he does his job so well on both ends and he’s literally top 10 in defensemen assists
