This was read word for word from Wikipedia. His death was not mysterious, and likely wasn't that painful, as he died in his sleep.

I didn't realize passing away in your sleep was painful. I hope he went quickly and is at peace.

This is a very rare mention of Ken singing on the Wheeling Jamboree. We are about to celebrate our 90th Anniversary show.

Ken Curtis was a fabulous Actor, singer and a Great entertainer as well. To now speak unkind or poorly of Him or other sadly deceased People. IS To Me, an almost sacrilegious act, or unkind actions against the ideas & Teachings of trying too remember Our other's as Good, honorable People, we Have lost forever. TKS for Sharing.

He was a great actor, I steel watch Gun smoke, and get a kick of the way he speaks and walks.
When he was all clean and shaved he was a very handsome man, my dad was the one who introduced me to the show, my father also passed on, we used to laugh together I miss my dad.

Most of the contents I’ve heard before elsewhere. Festus preceded Thad Ewing. Some names are mispronounced.
Really liked the clips that were used.

What do we think of his “painful death”? From what you just told us, it wasn’t painful, as he passed in his sleep…Why sensationalize this talented man’s passing, especially after he spent his life entertaining us?

I agree. Lived 30 tears in Alaska. A lot of loggers looked like Ken Curtis. I did helocopter logging. In SE Alaska as a choke setter for the summers of '84- 85. Too dangerous. Now I'm up here in Bellingham as a cripple. Just waiting my time. Perhaps I will bump into Ken and we will beer together in the "Tumbling Tumble Weeds". together.

Where have all the great actors/singers gone? I am just glad we had him for as long as we did. I still like his riding on a mule. I tried when I was 6 years 364 and a half days old. Ole Highgear tossed us straight up/ i landed on my brother with my left eye hitting him tossed my brother and I sky high. Went to my B Day party the next day with a big black eye. I tried Lava soap and it did not. I shot that damn mule many times with a BB gun ( power ). Never was I ever meant to be a cowboy even though I live in Texas.
