  • This video describes the process of creating an if, then, else statement with a structured expression. This produces a derived property in Cameo Systems Modeler that can be used as a query in tables, matrices, or exported to create reports.

Can you please do a video on Operations and Signal Reception partitions in a block, and the relation between operations / signal receptions defined on a block and messages shown on a sequence diagram?

Taimoor, I’ll definitely do a video on that topic. Thanks for the idea!

I have been using your videos a lot to help me understand a lot of MBSE and SysML! I am trying to solve an issue using expansion regions and it seems like not many people know how to use them and there isn't much documentation on them. Is there any way to send an email to explain the problem I am trying to solve?

Can you do the ifelsethen without using a First Operation? What does the first operation do/give you. Also is there somewhere to read/learn what all these opaque operations do/are? Just looking at some it's understandable but some not so much. I'd like to learn more about these and what they can or cannot do. thanks

Is it possible to do this with dates?

That’s a great question. I’ve never seen it done with dates but sounds like it would be possible. You should give it a shot and let me know if you’re able to get it to work.
