What I don’t get is first its the rapture then 7 year tribulation then 2nd coming of Jesus and Satan is chained for 1000 years and Jesus rules the earth for 1000 years but does that mean after 1000 years is over Satan comes back up and Gods people live today all over again because that’s what a lot of pastors make it sound like that Gods people come back to this evil world again. There are many tribulations that have already happened. The persecution of the saints by Rome was the great tribulation. Read matthew 24 for context. He is takling about the temple being destroyed by the Roman Empire and the great tribulation that followed after. In the second part he then talks about the last days. But he mentions another tribulation that is not the great tribulation, becuase the great tribulation had past. Jesus says, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Paul, in his letter to the Thessalonians (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3), stated that two events must occur before we are gathered unto Christ. The first event involves a significant apostasy or falling away from faith, and the second event is the appearance of the man of sin, often identified as the Antichrist. Your belief that the Rapture occurs prior to the final seven years, seems to be based on the idea that the Antichrist is identified by the confirmation of the covenant. However, the confirmation of a covenant doesn't explicitly reveal the identity of the Antichrist. Instead, the Antichrist's true identity will only be revealed when he commits the abomination of desolation. Jesus, in Matthew 24:15, warned that when the abomination of desolation, prophesied by Daniel, takes place in the holy place(3rd temple), those in Judea(Today's weskbank)should flee to the mountains. The question arises, why the need to flee? The answer is given in verse 21: its says for then shall ne great tribulation like never before even until that time no nor ever shall be. The abomination of desolation not only triggers the Great Tribulation but also reveals the Antichrist's identity. The confirmation of the covenant, therefore, does not serve as the identifying marker of the Antichrist. If it did, Jesus would have instructed those in Judea to flee upon witnessing it, but he didn't. The moment the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION occurs is when the Antichrist is truly identified. So, when does this event take place? According to Daniel 9:27, it happens halfway through the final seven years. This evidence strongly suggests that the Rapture of the church does not occur before the tribulation (pre-tribulation), as it happens after the revealing of the Antichrist.

Revelation starts off with letters to the churches, also called the seven lampstands. 5 receive harsh remarks and chastisement. TWO are given high remarks and praise. Is this coincidence that the two witnesses are called two lampstands? Could it be we got it wrong? Could the two witnesses be parts to the body of the church - one gentile and one Jewish? That would certainly make more sense why the antichrist would have to wage war against them. It always puzzled me why the antichrist would have to wage WAR against two individuals. War is a very odd choice of word if it is two individuals.

From my study of the Scriptures during the past 40 years the Rapture is indeed close BUT there are still more events which MUST occur prior to our going home to be with the LORD...we are most likely about 2-5 years away. Tribulation is coming but that is not yet God's wrath BUT the consequences of a wicked world. Prepare to suffer and some will lose their lives but the Lamb will rescue us prior to the Father's wrath being poured out.

Something to ask God and consider…what if the great tribulation is already over as most of what John saw in the book of Revelation manifested in the spirit? Started March 11, 2020 and finished September 22, 2023. Many people in the world have already taken the mark of the beast and when it is revealed to them they will be mad at the Pastors who lied to them. Jesus Christ in the flesh doesn’t come back until the end of 1000 years at the battle of Armageddon. Right now the kingdom is rising. It seems that the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation has already occurred. It occurred during the first three and a half years of Jesus's Ministry when he was here. There certainly was a lot of tribulation that's for sure. But even Daniel mentions the time that will be cut off, which will be 2 days, and for the Lord A Thousand Years is as one day, so for 2000 years we will be cut off. Then the second three and a half years of the tribulation will occur and the Messiah will come again on the 7th day, which will be at the beginning of the 7,000 year since creation which means 2030, which is exactly 2000 years after he was resurrected the first time. I know it was a big surprise to me too!! And I know what you're thinking, but the Rapture will not occur before the tribulation, the Bible is very clear on that

I agree with Paul in Thessalonians 4, I believe what he believed, He believed what the Holy Ghost told him which is very clear. I agree with what Jesus told me as recorded in Matthew 24:29-31 and also in Mark 13. Paul told me the Dead shall rise FIRST(the resurrection) and moments later the rapture of all Christians on earth as they will be changed and caught up together with them. Jesus told me this would take place when he returns on the last day immediately after the tribulation. It's clear as crystal I believe what Jesus told me as recorded in Luke 21 ,talking to the final generation that see the signs all taken together to look up for their redemption draws near. They know they're in the beginning of the tribulation and Jesus will return cutting it short at the end for their sakes. BECAUSE OF THE PRE-TRIB RAPTURE DECEPTION MANY CHRISTIANS WILL RECEIVE THE MARK NOT REALIZING WHAT IT IS. OTHERS WILL TURN THEIR BACKS ON JESUS WHEN THEY FIND THEMSELVES IN THE TRIBULATION.

The rapture happens only at the 2nd coming. And the 70 weeks have been fulfilled. Jeremiah 29:10 speaks of the same time period (After 70 years accomplished in Babylon) it has nothing to do with the future. There are several other verses that show it's fulfilled also. That was a probation period for Daniel's people and it doesn't extend out into the last days. Even Matthew 24 says that he returns After tribulation and to endure until the end of those days.
there is no pre trib rapture. there is no 7 year tribulation. Jesus fulfilled the first 3 and a half weeks of the 70th week of Daniel during his ministry. The beasts kingdom lasts for the final 3.5 years of the 70th week. the abomination of desolation will take place on March 21st, 2027, with the second coming taking place 1,260 days (3.5 years) after that date, arriving at September 1st, 2030.
Hey tribe, here is some good news about Daniel 9:27 and the seventy weeks. In Matthew 24:22 and Mark 13:20 Jesus said I have shortened the days that the antichrist is here on Earth. We all can read about these shortened days in Revelation chapter 9. Pay close attention to verses 5 and 10. These days has been shortened to a 5-month time period, not seven years! Therefore, Jesus’s teaching will supersede Daniel 9:27 in the Old Testament…………

The dead in Christ rise first...that's a resurrection. There are 4 witnesses, including Paul, who confirm that there is only 2 total resurrections and 1 resurrection of the righteous. And John tells us that this one resurrection of the righteous includes tribulation martyrs, which means nobody in Christ is raising up before the tribulation. Without a 3rd resurrection being made up & forced into the Text, pre trib is totally unworkable and collapses. Do not be deceived by anyone about this. You cannot come to a pre trib rapture without violating the commands in Revelation 22:18-19. Pre trib ADDS a non existent 3rd resurrection to the Text while simultaneously TAKING AWAY Matthew 24, Mark 13, & 19 chapters of Revelation from the church. Revelation 22:18-19 King James Version 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Technically apostasy has been going on since Paul's time but the culmination or zenith of the falling away will not be realized until antichrist is revealed and people start getting hungry but can't buy food without the mark. Esau sold his birthright over food. In John 6:66, certain followers (fraudulent) of Jesus stopped following Him after an exchange that began with Him calling them out because they only sought after Him for free bread. The evil servant in Matthew 24:48 expects an early arrival of the Lord (sound familiar?) and when it does not happen, the evil servant begins to do what? Turn on his fellow servants and eat & drink with the drunken. If this is a tribulation time period, how is the evil servant able to eat & drink with the enemy unless they took the mark? Matthew 13:20-21 tells us that the seeds on the rocks produce plants with no root and they wither in tribulation & persecution. They become "offended". Cross reference this with Matthew 24:9-10...many shall be offended and do what?? Betray each other...just like the evil servant in Matthew 24:48. And just like the people in Daniel 11:30 who forsake the holy covenant and "have intelligence" with the beast. The evil servant expects an early arrival of the Lord....that pertains to eschatological wrong doctrine like pre trib & mid trib. Hymenaeus & his friends, the first preterists were also associated with apostasy due to the heresy they supported. Ecclesiastes tells us that there is nothing new under the sun and that the thing that hath been shall be. All 3 of these heresies (pre trib, mid trib, & preterism) will have a large stake in the falling away because these teachings naturally attract false converts into the fold. That's not to say that all who currently follow these teachings will be exposed as frauds. Some will "see the light" and remain faithful. But many of the fallen away ones will come from these camps because 2 of these errors promise an early escape and the other one promises that all that scary stuff in Revelation already happened by 70 AD. All 3 are sowing seeds on the rocks. Genesis 49:17 says that Dan will be a serpent who bites the horses heels and makes his rider fall backwards. The man credited with founding modern dispensationalism and the pre trib rapture is John Nelson Darby. Darby fell from a horse and was seriously injured. During his recovery is when he started to create his doctrine that the church & Israel are separate, thereby creating the modern Danites. The Old Testament Danites rejected physical land in Israel. The New Testament Danites reject their spiritual allotment in the land of Israel by claiming that the church & Israel are divided. The Old Testament Danites moved north to conquer a large, lawless, secure, quiet plentiful land (Laish/Leshem) where they took Micah's Levite hireling as a priest and set up an idolatrous system of false worship. The inhabitants of this conquered land were far from their motherland (Zidonians). The New Testament Danites have used their doctrine to spiritually conquer a large, quiet, secure, plentiful, lawless land known as America. America is where the modern Danite doctrines thrive the most. These doctrines actually assist in the lawlessness part of that land because they breed lascivious, sinners prayer onlyism with promises of an early escape from tribulation. The inhabitants of America are mostly immigrants who are far from their motherlands just like the people conquered by the Old Testament Danites. And just like the Old Testament Danites hired Levite, the New Testament Danites have no shortage of hirelings who speak religious lingo that sounds genuine. But when you consider how most if not all of them either outright reject the new covenant as something only for "future Israel" or at best, they pay lip service to it while rarely if ever speaking about the new covenant's evidential seal of the law of God being written in our hearts & minds by the Spirit, the similarities with the Old Testament Danites mingling a part of Israel's religion (temple/law) with the profane becomes much easier to see. And when we compare how Micah reacted in Judges 17 and how the Danites reacted in Judges 18 in relation to the Levite hireling it becomes even more of a parallel to the New Testament Danites. The insistence on being spoon fed religion by a hired priestly class applies to both groups. The New Testament Danites insistence on this leads to most of them not actually being able to legitimately defend the doctrines they hold because more often than not, their true response ends up; "Well preacher man can explain it better than I can". In Revelation 7, the tribe of Dan has no inheritance.

The _subject_ of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 is the dead in Christ and how the living will reunite with them on that day. The "sorrow not" of verse 13 corresponds with the "comfort" of verse 18. _It has nothing to do with a pre tribulation rapture._ It is the first resurrection at the last day. John 6:39, 40, 44, 54. Revelation 20:4. If certain details of that day are _omitted_ from those verses, it is because they have nothing to do with the _subject._ E.g. the wrath of God, etc. In 1 Thessalonians 5:9, wrath is contrasted with salvation, not location. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 says _nothing_ about ascending into heaven, only a _meeting_ with the Lord in the air as he _descends_ from heaven, at "the coming of the Lord". "to meet" = the meeting and returning with. Compare Matthew 25:1; 6. Acts 28:14-16. Therefore, at the second coming / rapture, the Lord comes _for_ His saints and _with_ His saints in quick succession. _Heaven must receive_ (retain) Jesus Christ until the times of restitution of all things. Acts 3:20-21. Therefore, the Lord cannot _descend from heaven_ (1 Thessalonians 4:16) until the times of restitution of all things. We have a way mark at the 6th vial, in Revelation 16:15. Compare 1 Thessalonians 5:2. 2 Peter 3:10.
Revelation 19:7 tells us that the marriage of the Lamb is "come" (it is time). It does _not_ say that the marriage supper of the Lamb is "here" (location). We do not go to heaven, the kingdom of heaven will come here, as we are instructed to pray, "thy kingdom come". Matthew 6:10. Otherwise, how are the five foolish virgins going to bang on the door? The second coming / rapture will occur just as the Lord explained in Matthew 25:1-10. It was a custom of the time to go out and "meet" someone who was coming to your home, especially if it was an important person. An example of this can be found in Acts 28:14-16. As Paul approached Rome, the bretheren went out to "meet" him, and they accompanied him to Rome. Matthew 25:1-10 illustrates the same point. That is what is being explained in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. The Lord himself shall descend from heaven, and we "meet" him in the air. _It does not say one word about the Lord making a u-turn and taking us up to heaven._ Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. These are the same company described in Revelation 17:14, the church militant, said to be in heaven because that is often called the kingdom of heaven; and because their names are written in heaven (Hebrews 12:23), and they are of heavenly extract; they are born from above, and are partakers of the heavenly calling (Hebrews 3:1). Compare Ephesians 2:6. Etheridge's translation of the Syraic Peschito renders it, "armies _of_ heaven." Murdock's translation of the Peschitta renders it, "the soldiery _of_ heaven."

There are many tribulations that have already happened. The persecution of the saints by Rome was the great tribulation. Read matthew 24 for context. He is takling about the temple being destroyed by the Roman Empire and the great tribulation that followed after.
In the second part he then talks about the last days. But he mentions another tribulation that is not the great tribulation, becuase the great tribulation had past. Jesus says, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

Jesus said the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet would trigger the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:15-21).
Daniel only spoke of 1 abomination of desolation that would be committed by the antichrist, 3.5 years before the second coming. This is a prophecy for the endtime generation.

Rapture verse uses the term “Coming of The Lord,” (1 Thess. 4:15). As far as the order of events go, that the “Coming of The Lord,” means His next appearing shall be the 2nd Coming, (Acts 1:11). Where does one even fathom coming of the lord precedes the peace treaty being signed?

Paul, in his letter to the Thessalonians (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3), stated that two events must occur before we are gathered unto Christ. The first event involves a significant apostasy or falling away from faith, and the second event is the appearance of the man of sin, often identified as the Antichrist.
Your belief that the Rapture occurs prior to the final seven years, seems to be based on the idea that the Antichrist is identified by the confirmation of the covenant. However, the confirmation of a covenant doesn't explicitly reveal the identity of the Antichrist. Instead, the Antichrist's true identity will only be revealed when he commits the abomination of desolation.
Jesus, in Matthew 24:15, warned that when the abomination of desolation, prophesied by Daniel, takes place in the holy place(3rd temple), those in Judea(Today's weskbank)should flee to the mountains. The question arises, why the need to flee? The answer is given in verse 21: its says for then shall ne great tribulation like never before even until that time no nor ever shall be.
The abomination of desolation not only triggers the Great Tribulation but also reveals the Antichrist's identity. The confirmation of the covenant, therefore, does not serve as the identifying marker of the Antichrist. If it did, Jesus would have instructed those in Judea to flee upon witnessing it, but he didn't.
The moment the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION occurs is when the Antichrist is truly identified. So, when does this event take place? According to Daniel 9:27, it happens halfway through the final seven years. This evidence strongly suggests that the Rapture of the church does not occur before the tribulation (pre-tribulation), as it happens after the revealing of the Antichrist.

Revelation starts off with letters to the churches, also called the seven lampstands. 5 receive harsh remarks and chastisement. TWO are given high remarks and praise. Is this coincidence that the two witnesses are called two lampstands? Could it be we got it wrong? Could the two witnesses be parts to the body of the church - one gentile and one Jewish? That would certainly make more sense why the antichrist would have to wage war against them. It always puzzled me why the antichrist would have to wage WAR against two individuals. War is a very odd choice of word if it is two individuals.

From my study of the Scriptures during the past 40 years the Rapture is indeed close BUT there are still more events which MUST occur prior to our going home to be with the LORD...we are most likely about 2-5 years away. Tribulation is coming but that is not yet God's wrath BUT the consequences of a wicked world. Prepare to suffer and some will lose their lives but the Lamb will rescue us prior to the Father's wrath being poured out.

It seems that the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation has already occurred. It occurred during the first three and a half years of Jesus's Ministry when he was here. There certainly was a lot of tribulation that's for sure.
But even Daniel mentions the time that will be cut off, which will be 2 days, and for the Lord A Thousand Years is as one day, so for 2000 years we will be cut off.
Then the second three and a half years of the tribulation will occur and the Messiah will come again on the 7th day, which will be at the beginning of the 7,000 year since creation which means 2030, which is exactly 2000 years after he was resurrected the first time.

I agree with Paul in Thessalonians 4, I believe what he believed, He believed what the Holy Ghost told him which is very clear. I agree with what Jesus told me as recorded in Matthew 24:29-31 and also in Mark 13. Paul told me the Dead shall rise FIRST(the resurrection) and moments later the rapture of all Christians on earth as they will be changed and caught up together with them. Jesus told me this would take place when he returns on the last day immediately after the tribulation.
It's clear as crystal I believe what Jesus told me as recorded in Luke 21 ,talking to the final generation that see the signs all taken together to look up for their redemption draws near. They know they're in the beginning of the tribulation and Jesus will return cutting it short at the end for their sakes.

Those who teach a pre-Trib “rapture” are sons of Gehenna… they are AGAINST CHRIST!
This is why… That one false teaching will be the catalyst for the Great Apostasy! When “Christians” witness the undeniable signs of the Tribulation and realize they were not “beamed up” to Heaven, they will lose faith! The true church was called The Way (Gr. tēn Hodon/Heb. HaDerech) as is mentioned throughout Acts as well as the Dead Sea Scrolls. Enoch and Elijah, the two witnesses of Revelation, will re-establish The Way during the Tribulation in preparation for Christ’s Second Coming.

The rapture happens only at the 2nd coming. And the 70 weeks have been fulfilled. Jeremiah 29:10 speaks of the same time period (After 70 years accomplished in Babylon) it has nothing to do with the future. There are several other verses that show it's fulfilled also. That was a probation period for Daniel's people and it doesn't extend out into the last days. Even Matthew 24 says that he returns After tribulation and to endure until the end of those days.
there is no pre trib rapture. there is no 7 year tribulation. Jesus fulfilled the first 3 and a half weeks of the 70th week of Daniel during his ministry. The beasts kingdom lasts for the final 3.5 years of the 70th week. the abomination of desolation will take place on March 21st, 2027, with the second coming taking place 1,260 days (3.5 years) after that date, arriving at September 1st, 2030.
Hey tribe, here is some good news about Daniel 9:27 and the seventy weeks. In Matthew 24:22 and Mark 13:20 Jesus said I have shortened the days that the antichrist is here on Earth. We all can read about these shortened days in Revelation chapter 9. Pay close attention to verses 5 and 10. These days has been shortened to a 5-month time period, not seven years! Therefore, Jesus’s teaching will supersede Daniel 9:27 in the Old Testament…………

Jesus told us in Matthew 24:22 and Mark 13:20 that He (Jesus) has shorten the days that the antichrist would be here on Earth. The dead in Christ rise first...that's a resurrection. There are 4 witnesses, including Paul, who confirm that there is only 2 total resurrections and 1 resurrection of the righteous. And John tells us that this one resurrection of the righteous includes tribulation martyrs, which means nobody in Christ is raising up before the tribulation. Without a 3rd resurrection being made up & forced into the Text, pre trib is totally unworkable and collapses. Do not be deceived by anyone about this.

Paul tells a gentile Roman governor there's only 2 total and only 1 of the just and he does so AFTER he wrote Thessalonians & Corinthians. Which means there is no secret 3rd resurrection as part of the "mystery" that he was given to take to the gentiles. Unless of course you're prepared to espouse the idea that Paul "forgot" to mention that 3rd resurrection here in Acts 24, and subsequently blew a golden witnessing opportunity while speaking to this gentile Roman governor??

John confirms only 2 total and only 1 for the righteous and it includes tribulation martyrs, which means nobody in Christ is raising up before the tribulation. You cannot come to a pre trib rapture without violating the commands in Revelation 22:18-19. Pre trib ADDS a non existent 3rd resurrection to the Text while simultaneously TAKING AWAY Matthew 24, Mark 13, & 19 chapters of Revelation from the church.

Technically apostasy has been going on since Paul's time but the culmination or zenith of the falling away will not be realized until antichrist is revealed and people start getting hungry but can't buy food without the mark. Esau sold his birthright over food. In John 6:66, certain followers (fraudulent) of Jesus stopped following Him after an exchange that began with Him calling them out because they only sought after Him for free bread. The evil servant in Matthew 24:48 expects an early arrival of the Lord (sound familiar?) and when it does not happen, the evil servant begins to do what? Turn on his fellow servants and eat & drink with the drunken. If this is a tribulation time period, how is the evil servant able to eat & drink with the enemy unless they took the mark?
Matthew 13:20-21 tells us that the seeds on the rocks produce plants with no root and they wither in tribulation & persecution. They become "offended". Cross reference this with Matthew 24:9-10...many shall be offended and do what?? Betray each other...just like the evil servant in Matthew 24:48. And just like the people in Daniel 11:30 who forsake the holy covenant and "have intelligence" with the beast.
The evil servant expects an early arrival of the Lord....that pertains to eschatological wrong doctrine like pre trib & mid trib. Hymenaeus & his friends, the first preterists were also associated with apostasy due to the heresy they supported. Ecclesiastes tells us that there is nothing new under the sun and that the thing that hath been shall be. All 3 of these heresies (pre trib, mid trib, & preterism) will have a large stake in the falling away because these teachings naturally attract false converts into the fold. That's not to say that all who currently follow these teachings will be exposed as frauds. Some will "see the light" and remain faithful. But many of the fallen away ones will come from these camps because 2 of these errors promise an early escape and the other one promises that all that scary stuff in Revelation already happened by 70 AD. All 3 are sowing seeds on the rocks.
Genesis 49:17 says that Dan will be a serpent who bites the horses heels and makes his rider fall backwards. The man credited with founding modern dispensationalism and the pre trib rapture is John Nelson Darby. Darby fell from a horse and was seriously injured. During his recovery is when he started to create his doctrine that the church & Israel are separate, thereby creating the modern Danites.
The Old Testament Danites rejected physical land in Israel. The New Testament Danites reject their spiritual allotment in the land of Israel by claiming that the church & Israel are divided. The Old Testament Danites moved north to conquer a large, lawless, secure, quiet plentiful land (Laish/Leshem) where they took Micah's Levite hireling as a priest and set up an idolatrous system of false worship. The inhabitants of this conquered land were far from their motherland (Zidonians).
The New Testament Danites have used their doctrine to spiritually conquer a large, quiet, secure, plentiful,
lawless land known as America. America is where the modern Danite doctrines thrive the most. These doctrines actually assist in the lawlessness part of that land because they breed lascivious, sinners prayer onlyism with promises of an early escape from tribulation. The inhabitants of America are mostly immigrants who are far from their motherlands just like the people conquered by the Old Testament Danites.
And just like the Old Testament Danites hired Levite, the New Testament Danites have no shortage of hirelings who speak religious lingo that sounds genuine. But when you consider how most if not all of them either outright reject the new covenant as something only for "future Israel" or at best, they pay lip service to it while rarely if ever speaking about the new covenant's evidential seal of the law of God being written in our hearts & minds by the Spirit, the similarities with the Old Testament Danites mingling a part of Israel's religion (temple/law) with the profane becomes much easier to see. And when we compare how Micah reacted in Judges 17 and how the Danites reacted in Judges 18 in relation to the Levite hireling it becomes even more of a parallel to the New Testament Danites.
The insistence on being spoon fed religion by a hired priestly class applies to both groups. The New Testament Danites insistence on this leads to most of them not actually being able to legitimately defend the doctrines they hold because more often than not, their true response ends up; "Well preacher man can explain it better than I can". In Revelation 7, the tribe of Dan has no inheritance.

The _subject_ of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 is the dead in Christ and how the living will reunite with them on that day. The "sorrow not" of verse 13 corresponds with the "comfort" of verse 18. _It has nothing to do with a pre tribulation rapture._ It is the first resurrection at the last day. John 6:39, 40, 44, 54. Revelation 20:4.
If certain details of that day are _omitted_ from those verses, it is because they have nothing to do with the _subject._ E.g. the wrath of God, etc. In 1 Thessalonians 5:9, wrath is contrasted with salvation, not location.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 says _nothing_ about ascending into heaven, only a _meeting_ with the Lord in the air as he _descends_ from heaven, at "the coming of the Lord". "to meet" = the meeting and returning with. Compare Matthew 25:1; 6. Acts 28:14-16.
Therefore, at the second coming / rapture, the Lord comes _for_ His saints and _with_ His saints in quick succession.
_Heaven must receive_ (retain) Jesus Christ until the times of restitution of all things. Acts 3:20-21. Therefore, the Lord cannot _descend from heaven_ (1 Thessalonians 4:16) until the times of restitution of all things.
We have a way mark at the 6th vial, in Revelation 16:15. Compare 1 Thessalonians 5:2. 2 Peter 3:10.
Revelation 19:7 tells us that the marriage of the Lamb is "come" (it is time). It does _not_ say that the marriage supper of the Lamb is "here" (location).
We do not go to heaven, the kingdom of heaven will come here, as we are instructed to pray, "thy kingdom come". Matthew 6:10. Otherwise, how are the five foolish virgins going to bang on the door?
The second coming / rapture will occur just as the Lord explained in Matthew 25:1-10. It was a custom of the time to go out and "meet" someone who was coming to your home, especially if it was an important person. An example of this can be found in Acts 28:14-16. As Paul approached Rome, the bretheren went out to "meet" him, and they accompanied him to Rome. Matthew 25:1-10 illustrates the same point.
That is what is being explained in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. The Lord himself shall descend from heaven, and we "meet" him in the air. _It does not say one word about the Lord making a u-turn and taking us up to heaven._

Thats not entirely accurate....the 1260 days could very easily be a prophetic symbolism for 1260 years of ruling. Dont remember it being 1290... But that could just be me...This fits very well into the statue prophecy which also links very well into relevelation symbolism not to mention the added b3ast dream by Daniel. The 1260 "days" bares a very close resemblence to the papacies rule over the Roman empire which was "approx-precisely" about 1260 years.... 536-538 A.D. coming into aurhoritative power.... 1796-1798 being arrested by Generl Berthia "I believe" and losing authoritative power over the empire....1260 years....
