Yes the polish does not remove any metal material. The sanding process was just to cut the clear coat off. So your seat post can be polished the same way. I recommend it to renew an old aluminum seat post.

I go with Mother because I can also clean My headlight lenses.
The Mothers works great! I love the Mothers power ball as well. I didn’t know you could polish headlights with it. Thanks for watching Micheal.
