Really think about this. Out of all the Polynesians Samoa is the Pacific country that the British colonisers fear the most. Why? Because we are the only people that are smart enough to stand up and fight for our rights & most importantly beat the british colonisers at their own game. The Mau that lead to Samoa Independence & now Falema’i Lesa. Pretty sure there’s more stories of unsung Samoan heroes out there that we still haven’t heard or learnt about. Keep them stories coming. It only empowers our People within our country, communities & families.

Nobody fears them here cos On the flip side there’s a lot of Samoan gate keepers too.. that’ll keep them in power

Had a couple of friends who worked in Samoa as peace corps from the states that got a pea before they left the island back to the states. Being Samoan I honestly was proud of our heritage and people that respect it, knowing where it came from and why it is held in high esteem.

Just on the second topic about the pe’a, ( Samoan tattoo) I’m oldskool I think you need to know the history and the culture and be willing to serve your family and community and village before you get it (The Pain) and Chicago is Not in Samoa 🇼🇸

You missed out Samoa becoming an indepedant country in '62, before the dawn raidingz. Small point but changes the narrative if only slightly.

They probably have other laws within those acts that nobody can see. If it’s anything like americas acts, there’s probably thousands of pages to go through to read with each act.
