I'm really hoping they come out with more raids for the next dlc. Imagine an arena you can spawn in like arms race, and it lets you choose what raid boss you want to fight

The Beskar kind of reminds me of my "Rose of Many Thorns" Demon Hunter build in Diablo 3. I had managed to raise his damage reflection abilities _very_ high. I would walk into a group of enemies, and the moment one of them attacked him, they would all instantly explode.
Binary code is written in Yes Or No, identified by 1 for yes, 0 for no. Two integers, hence Binary. So yeah Yoda + Math. You almost nailed it.

Only reason why I say the Yoda part is a no, is cause the Tri-Bolt is already a Yoda reference. Borderlands may reference one creation multiple times, but not really one character multiple times, just so they don't seem lazy.
The only acception is all the COV weapons referencing Krieg. And that's cause 1, Krieg is their creation, so they can reference him all they want. And 2, Krieg is their best playable character, so they better fucking flood the game with references of the man. Lol

If that Yoda line was inspired by an existing quote then I'm fine acknowledging that, but for me that pop culture reference is all Yoda, and the red text is a double layered nod to both.

Since you did not mention it, the Gasmask's red text might be a reference to the 1915 defence of Belgrade, and from that, the song from Sabaton about it, since it's refrain features the following: "Soldiers, heroes die for your land, your lives are gonna erased by your command. Until your last dying breath." Also, this siege took place in 1915, wich was in WW1, where gasmasks where essential if you wanted to stay alive, after the, began using mustard gas and other types of toxic gases
I've been playing a ridiculous glass cannon build on Moze with a Madcap + Deathless setup and it's honestly the most fun I've had in a borderlands game in a while
Cool guide! I do wish that you’d comment a little on the prefixes, stuff like how some versions are a lot better than the others, such as dark army’s compared to dark army ++s, snide trickshots and bloodstained trickshots and such. That’d be really nice for farming purposes and knowing if you’ve gotten a good variant or not
@Rhyleigh Mackenzie some of the prefixes in the dlc literally just gives the gun more damage and mag size than others lol

Kensei is actually Op. It gets melee damage scaling. So it is really 170% bonus damage. And it boosts unleavened the rainbow. And because the bonus from the kensei is melee damage the bonus from unweave the rainbow will allow you to one shot any frozen enemy. Definitely recommended

Moze can also spawn the Boogeyman skulls in Iron Bear.
I always switch to it before hopping in the mech.
I found out once you've obtain any weapon or shield or relic in the game, it will show up in Sanctuary's vending machines more often than not, so be sure to check those vending machines when you're at Sanctuary.

HAHA GUN BRRRRRRRR, the gun with that red description is amazing! 25 bullets a second and 88 mag wwith moze you shred and you still have reload a lot with crits

A level 48 Dark Army was my primary weapon all the way to level 65 mayhem 2, then I got a new Dark Army. It's amazing, but moreso if you use Zane's Double Barrel
dont know if anyone else has noticed this yet but each specific chest set drops a specific weapon/item type more often
If you have the boogeyman equipped while entering iron bear everything you kill while in iron bear has a chance to spawn a skull. Same goes for iron cub I think. Just FYI. Found this out yesterday.

Moze can make the trickshot really fun, infinite ammo after iron bear with nex to mags annointment destroys bosses.

Use the HOT spring with a 1hp max shields moze build with the class mod that turns healing into shield health
I got 2 tizzys on my second try and one on my first! Cryo, fire, and corrosive! Boss killing machines! Uses too much amo to mob with but I love whipping them out for badasses and such!
With the prefix King Arthur on the Holy Grail artifact makes me think of Fate/Stay Night
I don't know for sure, but I think the holy grail is a reference to Monty python and the holy grail due to the king Arthur and percible prefix.
However during Indiana Jones he says, this is a cup fit for a king... AND it heals his father of the gunshot wound so it is probably that.

I got my hellwalker as a random drop during the Kriegs mind dlc
i believe the gas mask shield references a ww2 russian battalion who are referenced as “zombie soldiers” whos gas masks werent protecting them from chemical attacks- the dying soldiers fought off an entire nazi offensive in a critical victory- with the commanding officer rallying the troop’s with the red text
probably late to this as i just got the Arms Race DLC, The critical Thug could also be probably pretty good on FL4K, with his critical hit boost skills
This is a good video. But I have concerns about the new action skill is active anointments. The ones for moze and iron bear are fantastic and are very welcome but the others that are active during the longer duration action skills like fade away are kinda inferior to the already existing while action skill is active gain two hundred percent damage. If they really intend on keeping these in and actually compete I’d think they need another perk. Maybe bonus reload speed or crit damage or accuracy. Otherwise what’s the incentive to use the new ones besides OOOH SHINY NEW. Also please buff the sledges shotgun

I would be extremely grateful if you could make a version of this that doesnt include the part about them being in chests in the arms race map. I love the video it just gets really repetitive by the time you get to the hotfoot teddy.
Hey beskar has dropped with 3 perks for me. Shield recharge, amp damage and the one I use has an additional 15% reflection while shielded.
But it always has 100% reflect
31:28 have you actually tried the flak class mod? It's bugged and makes your pet target you with attack command not enemies. Could we get a video on it being glitched to bring attention to it so it might actually get fixed?

Quick question K6, when you do your allegiance runs, do you just throw them out the window when you do Arms Race? Or do you insist on only using manufacturer-specific weapons?
I always use ONLY the manufacturer associated with the playthrough. Makes it very challenging

Not that anyone is probably wondering, but the binary operator is mostly a star wars reference. Luke’s theme (yanno the one) is actually called binary sunset. So the red text and the name are both star wars/ minor coding references which is neat but too bad the weapon sucks
This game mode almost made me crack my disc I lost so many good legendaries trying to make me way to an extraction station or the final boss. Playing solo btw

By the way, I noticed a thing about the HOT Spring: if I throw it, I gain a healing aura that heals NPCs around me. It lasts until I fast-travel away, even if I unequip the grenade.
I have so far only tested this at Sanctuary, but will try it in a couple of other places. I haven't had a chance to test it on multiplayer partners.

Could someone explain to me how to transfer to the PS5 version of BL3? I’ve seen people say that you can only transfer 1 character but that’s not that big a deal to me. However I am concerned about whether or not my story progress will transfer with that character
The character save has all the information in it. It will be the same as if you logged in on whatever you use now

The world drop rates for them will be lower but yes you could. I recommend staying on m10 because if you open the plasma coil chest and its 200 splash or something like that you won't be able to use it and you'll be sad
It's always pretty balanced so it wouldn't make the fight any easier just lower mayhem for the loot
Yes, but then any weapons you find will be worthless on M10. The balancing in Arms Race is really good so you should be fine on M10 or 11

If you extract them they appear in your vault in sanctuary
faming in bl3 is weird,last night i farmed hellwalker for almost 2 hours,then i got it,then i was like lemme kill the mob with his own gun for fun,and i got a second hellwalker LOL
Great video, boss. Any tips on how the hell I can get ANYWHERE in this DLC? I’m playing solo, I’m Level 72, and playing on Mayhem 6. The problem is, every single weapon I get from chests, enemy kills, etc. does no more than 5k to 6k in damage…EVEN THE LEGENDARIES!!! How am I supposed to get anywhere when I never get a weapon strong enough to take anything out??? And one other thing: I thought the Murdercane was only supposed to shrink once every 4 minutes?! Why does mine shrink every 1-1/2 minutes? I don’t even have time to run to any of the outside chests because of the short timeframe of movement, AND FL4K runs slower than molasses in a snowstorm! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
All characters have the same move speed in Arms Race. Beat tips: CoV and Atlas AX-7 and AX-19 pistols. Only do outer zones that are safe to get to when you first enter the map.

They’re all equal in Arms Race. Choose the one you want gear for because that will effect the Anointments

19:41 Wow.. this gun is actually fucking absurd, this is honestly quite possibly the best gun in the entire game, I mean almost 96k elemental damage per second? 38k damage on an SMG 87% accuracy is insane for an SMG, 73% handling is phenomenal and a fire rate of 14.117/s is amazing for even an SMG

There really isn't any BAD things from this update, except the Binary Operator. Everything else is either really powerful or has minimal use.
I hate how the Operator is in the same chest as the Boogeyman…
Are the extraction points for loot in the same spot?
I only tried 3 times, twice died by Murdercane, once was killed by multiple bad asses.
So far, all I do is run around aimlessly and die.
Any pointers from anyone would be appreciated.
