@@hollydeans6030 biology is one of my faves so I was in a relatively easy position to get good grades. It has a loT of content, and some of the terminology is incredibly intimidating. Start with easier topics, cell biology for example, and find a study style that suits you. Also ask ur teachers for help! You can do it :))

Go through whatever text you’re doing and annotate it line by line, if you don’t get something ask a teacher or Google it! Watch parody versions, we’re doing a Christmas Carol and I’ve watched The Muppets version every Christmas for ages so I understand the plot and some key lines. I structure my answers as (example) Dickens presents Scrooge as cold in Stave One, this is illustrated as he’s “(example that shows this)”. Later on this is contrasted, he’s now “(example)”, this depicts his (change? His growth? Whatever the question wants) and shows dickens’ message. I hope that helps a bit!!
I really wish I had my motivation in year 11. I gained it two months before my exam and managed to get 7's for everything but considering I'm studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry I wished that I knew more on the subjects. Start studying and paying full attention in year 11, it really pays off.

Also, if you’re doing your a levels or GCSE you are still a child. There is no need to pile the pressure on. If you’re watching this video then you care about your results and education. And that’s 99% of the battle. Everyone is different but I did 2 weeks of revision for my GCSE’s and got 10A*-A (9-8). I’m not hating on this video at all, it’s very admirable! But I think it’s easy to fall into this perspective that the world is going to stomp on you unless you get 11 9s and 4 A*S at a level. I know a doctor who got an unconditional for Medicine and then flunked his a levels and still became a doctor. When I was an engineer I had 3 degrees from top unis but my boss had one degree which was a 2:2 from a ‘rubbish’ uni. Just do your best, find what works for you!

Whilst yes this is an amazing individual, but suggesting you should be doing math camps and essay contests over summer is only really going to work for a very specific kind of person I.e this guy. Use your summer to relax and enjoy yourself, have fun and enjoy your education and the more independent time of your life. I have 3 degrees and I wouldn’t suggest smashing yourself into the floor. Realistically the main thing for uni is grades and a little bit of extra curricular stuff.

@@abir3299 imo seneca for english lit and lang and cs as for triple science you would use freesciencelessons then physics and maths tutor together, as for Corbett maths and sports studies I'm guessing is physical education, seneca works as well

7:39 is just as true for choosing A-levels as it is for choosing careers. There are loads of new subjects now available that were not at GCSE which people often don't consider for long enough. And the choice only expands for university: I am doing a degree which was not available either at GCSE or at A-Level; people should consider these degrees way more too!
