    I love your enthusiasm! I'm really into space, so I'm surprised how the news of this mission "flew" right over my head 😅

    It's interesting how much this spacecraft looks the Europa Clipper built by APL/JPL. It seems to have just an extra four solar panels. It'll be cool to have both spacecraft there (I assume) at around the same time.

    I met a man at a career fair a few months ago at my school who was an engineer and he built the magnetometer for the JUICE probe. It is very interesting as he was the person who told me about it and as a plus I got a cool poster of the probe too!

    I feel like in our search for life, we're going to someday end up seeding life on a different planet accidentally

    I still don't understand why JUICE don't directly go to Jupiter and why will it do flybys?

    • @Top-Code
      @Top-Code Год назад

      It’s more fuel effective to do flybys, and therefore cheaper.

      @muhammadaun... Год назад

      @@Top-Code there's no friction in space so the space craft should keep going

      @@Top-Code and how is it efficient?

    • @Top-Code
      @Top-Code Год назад

      @@muhammadaun... the craft would keep going, if it wasn’t for a pesky thing called gravity, which means you are stuck in an orbit. You need the ability to change velocity to change your orbit, called delta V.
      A flyby essentially gives free delta V by using the gravity of a planet or moon to change your trajectory without using fuel. This means you don’t have to bring as much fuel, and can instead bring more scientific payload, or not have to use a larger and more expensive rocket.

    My favorite planets are Jupiter and Saturn
    Bcz these are gas planets in the solar system.
    JUICE is my favorite and most extraordinary space mission in my life i ever saw ✨🌌🛰️
