Wait a minute, I thought next time we were playing 10 ball on the 9ft tables??? Thanks again for this, I had a lot of fun playing and commentating on this as well!
That is one amazing tutorial on position play, posture/stance, practice (Mark Wilson comment), spin. Sent the link to my Friday Seniors League team. Will watch it again (and again). Thanks.
@@drewvonporte Biggest fan? It just happens to be the shot I see. If I thought you could successful pull off power follow I would recommend that. It is my favorite pattern. Using the rails to come into the line of a shot is a good skill to have. You know if you don't want people commenting then stop encouraging to do such. If you don't want my comments specifically I am fine with that as well.
@@GarrethandPipa man I wish I had a better answer for what I was trying to do there. Shooting the 4 straight up to the rail and leaving the cue ball on the rail would have been better than what I did. But hey, at least it looked cool right?
I'm usually the first one to admit that I fouled, or that it's a bad hit or whatever. But this one I really wasn't sure. I'm glad we were able to go to tape on this one. Although what Drew doesn't know is that I almost always just give up ball in hand in those spots if I'm not sure.
Drew talks too much lol. I usually tend to slow roll but lately I’ve been feeling more comfortable with my stroke and I’ve started to use rails for position. I already see big improvement in my game.
If I hadn't watched you play for a while and was coming in blind I would say you were a 580. We both know that simply isn't the case. When your hot your at least 725.
Haha yep my joke that isn't even a joke anymore is that my A game is a 700 and my C game is a 300 and what's a B game? It's so frustrating to be able to run out one rack and the next feel like I couldn't make the cue ball if I tried. Getting better though, slowly but surely!
This was awesome. You call out a lot of my thoughts, as well as a lot of my issues 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️… maybe next time we’ll only play 8-ball 🤝🏼 😅

Thank you for the watch and comments. These are kind of humbling, I really appreciate it!
@18:22 I am surprized you didn't pinch it to the left rail. For the 7 in the BR. Also dont think its a big issue to make the 8 in the BL either.
Garreth is the pinch shots biggest fan!!
He was trying to give me a chance dude 😂😂

@@adamgpool It a gut check not in making the thing but trusting your not selling out if you miss
Nice shooting and a lot to learn from both of you playing .. keep it coming
Thank you! Hopefully you're only learning the good things and not the bad things lol
😂😂😂
Nice video!
Thank you!
If you get a chance, ask a high level ref about the split hits. The cue ball travel told the whole story. Nice kicks by both players.
