Ilongos doesn't worry any negative comments of a few. The people of Iloilo had been enjoying the serenity, & easy going modest pace of growth for more than a hundred years. Some other people are just overwhelmed of their development for they are new to it. Most of those people in Davao had just had a good thing happen to them and never knew how did they got to their place, Most of them are originally from Visayas anyway. They are just squatters and land grabbers. They are not original settlers.

Cebuanos are intensely regionalistic. They also are a very proud people. For the Cebuanos, this only means they are very proud of their craft and culture. They think highly of themselves and show this by “loving their own,” which explains the refusal to speak Tagalog. You see, Cebuanos insist on speaking in their native tongue to just about anyone, except foreigners, of course. If someone from the NCR speaks to them in Tagalog, they would rather reply in English than speak Tagalog.
This people commenting negative about iloilo, are those people who are insecure of iloilo glorious past, they dont know the history, but only one i can say, in the history of human's civilization, their are rise and fall of an empire, one thing for sure iloilo will rise again even surpass his golden years, on this premise that some insecure people are afraid of.

@Uridissie. The inclusion of the airport and golf course in this video was meant to show that these amenities are easily accessible form the city. The people and the leadership are working hard finding ways to make the city eco-friendly and are also partnering with private individuals and corporation to prserve our cultural heritage.

Ilongos doesn't worry any negative comments of a few. The people of Iloilo had been enjoying the serenity, & easy going modest pace of growth for more than a hundred years. Some other people are just overwhelmed of their development for they are new to it. Most of those people in Davao had just had a good thing happen to them and never knew how did they got to their place, Most of them are originally from Visayas anyway. They are just squatters and land grabbers. They are not original settlers.

Cebuanos are intensely regionalistic. They also are a very proud people.
For the Cebuanos, this only means they are very proud of their craft and culture.
They think highly of themselves and show this by “loving their own,” which explains the refusal to speak Tagalog.
You see, Cebuanos insist on speaking in their native tongue to just about anyone, except foreigners, of course. If someone from the NCR speaks to them in Tagalog, they would rather reply in English than speak Tagalog.
This people commenting negative about iloilo, are those people who are insecure of iloilo glorious past, they dont know the history, but only one i can say, in the history of human's civilization, their are rise and fall of an empire, one thing for sure iloilo will rise again even surpass his golden years, on this premise that some insecure people are afraid of.

@Uridissie. The inclusion of the airport and golf course in this video was meant to show that these amenities are easily accessible form the city. The people and the leadership are working hard finding ways to make the city eco-friendly and are also partnering with private individuals and corporation to prserve our cultural heritage.
