People need to get aware and call out specific patterns and instances of narrative manipulation of political parties.

Thank you for unbiased content.

      Watch the video again.
ALL the parties are doing this.
The party (lets say, X) that's criticizing the other party (Y) is also doing this. The reason X is criticizing Y's shadow politics is to make it harder for Y to use these tactics, so that X is the only one that can benefit from these tactics.
That's what controlling the narrative means.
One narrative control tactic is called 'Preemptive Attack' i.e. making the case against them a legal issue before they do the same to us. That way, if they later try to make it a legal issue for us, the case can easily be discredited as empty revenge motivated by [insert some form of tribalism (Eg: racism, nationalism, etc.)].
Even though both parties are constantly using these tactics and trying trying to rise cases against each other's leaders, for using the very same tactics, the party with *less power* will have *more cases* against them... simply because they have less gov./legal power.

One of the most important aspects yet the most under looked is the role of political consultancy today and you guys are doing something no one else is to highlight this. Ever since 2014 the way elections have been fought has completely changed forever. For good or bad? Only time will tell. However one thing is sure that there will be more and more competition between political consultancy firms to be the most successful economically and here lies the problem. With almost no knowledge of their workings, let alone governance or regulation these firms have a free run to do whatever they need to best everyone else in their space and this if left unchecked, in future can come back to haunt politicians and even governments in the years to come.

I think it was inevitable that this industry would eventually go corporate, it has a insane amount of money on the line. The main downside of this being are the "Lies" false/unfulfilled promises need a way to be penalised and hold these parties accountable. I think a certain threshold should be placed and a official committee shall be set up for keeping a track of these promises because as common people we cannot research and afford to spend so much time on which party followed through. In theory every party makes good promises its just a matter of who does as they have said. Penalising this somehow would reduce wild claims and false promises by a bunch in itself leading to a more fact based and less emotional elections. A report on every party before the start of the elections making rounds on social media in the forms of reels and tweets would help the indian public choose a leader more factually and easily.

Isn't that how democracy should work in the first place?
    1) Politician figures out what people actually want from them. Of course, one man can't meet every single individual and discuss the problem, that's why they have those political consultancies.
    2) They promise to solve those problems in their election campaign.
    3) That's why people happily vote for them. And they win.
So, where exactly is the problem in that?

You are talking about narratives, they always existed on all sides of the political spectrum since the dawn of democracies. Influence works by favorable information whichever source and effective way is used.

Aevy once excelled at producing precise and accurate videos on complex and interesting topics. However, the recent videos have become excessively long, often repeating the same content in loops. This unnecessary length could be easily halved for a more streamlined viewing experience. I think they are doing this intentionally for better engagement.

The solution could also be market based. People can and do weigh different claims. We just need more people making arguments that are against the establishment since all this actually becomes a problem when an institution becomes giant. The problem of gigantism. However, the problem of exposure arises then, but even that will become a good money-making opportunity. In the US, Ground News has recently gained prominence, many calling it the "future of news consumption". It basically shows their binary media's blind spots in reporting and compares them side by side, giving their population a proper overview. Something like that might not work in India right now, one many think. But Indian population is too hierarchical. We don't need to convince everyone, we just need to influence the top 20% and then they'll influence the rest.

Lol nothing gonna happen in india where 70% population don't know how things works, majority don't even know basic of economics and geopolitics.. they just blabber shit which their political masters say without any analytical and logical mind
