Are you aware Hotsy and Landa are made in the same plant and the pumps are the same just different stickers on them? The coil on the Landa gets hot spots and fails sooner than the hotsy, not to mention the ease of repair on the hotsy all those panels on the Landa get rusted and you have to lay down usually in water to do any work on them.also the warranty is the same on both units so what's your selling point now?

Are you aware that in USA most companies/brands do the same ? In the end the main manufacturer makes $$$xxx. With that said, the main distributor has the mills and machines to full fill the other brands engineer. In the end. The machine is made at the same plant bury it’s the ENGINEER aspect of it. ......

To add Horizontal coil makes fuel soak batten and smokes up a storm.

While the pumps may be similar, the main differences are the design of the coil. The vertical coil is obviously an inferior design and all but the bargain brands have moved away from it. About 99% of the people in our area prefer downstream chemical, as most detergents are made to be applied at low pressure and have ample dwell time before being washed up; this is also a more economical approach as you will use less chemical.

This video looks biased in the direction of the Landa branded equipment. Why is a brand new Landa HOT2-11024D showcased next to a 10-year-old Hotsy 555ss? Watching this video alone would turn me off of a Hotsy.
The gentleman did fail to mention that the entry-level Hotsy 555ss will put out 1300psi at 2.2gpm while the entry-level Landa will only put out 1000psi at 2.0gpm.
Regarding the soap system, I do agree. Low-pressure soap is more effective by increasing dwell time, however, dual-lance wands are more expensive to replace and harder to find at most suppliers. Also, low-pressure soap valves frequently get seized closed from poor water quality. The best option is to get a low-pressure foam gun to add to the end of the wand.
Although you are correct this Hotsy does run with a 2-piston Duplex pump as opposed to the 3-piston Triplex, this is the ONLY Hotsy that does use this style pump. The only reason for this is for customers to have a budget-friendly solution to help them get into an entry-level Hotsy.

I used to have a Hotsy but I recently switched over to the Landa. The Landa feels WAY stronger with the larger pump and also it maintains heat much better. THANKS for the video and the info!!!!

We use two of them here on commercial Masonry jobs. I have no complaints we beat the shit out of them and they do the job very well no complaints over two years of consistent eight hour day use

Chad, You are correct that Hotsy and Landa are made in the same factory, however you are incorrect in your assumption that they use the same pump. In the video, you will see that Landa uses their own 3 piston pump, while Hotsy uses a much cheaper and completely different 2 piston pump! Also, if you compare motor sizes an pump sizes of most comparable machines, you will see that Landa almost always uses a larger motor, and larger pump.
Almost all industrial machines have switched to the horizontal coil design as they are much more fuel efficient, and they protect the burner from soot/moisture and debris. Only Hotsy and a few bargain brands still use the vertical coil. Landa coils certainly do NOT get hot spots. What we have actually seen happen is that moisture from vertical coil machines gets into the burner and causes many burner issues on vertical coil machines.

FYI... LANDA pumps and HOTSY pumps are THE SAME. You are just comparing a Duplex plunger pump and a Triplex plunger pump... Most HOTSYs come with a TRIPLEX pump (this mean 3 pistons btw...) like the one you are showing ;-)
The only difference on the pump is the sticker they put on. Hotsy is marked HOTSY and LANDA: "Landa by Karcher..." ;-)

hi all, this apperars to be a good product, please whatever you do, do NOT buy a pressure washer from northern tools i did, and have many many problems they use china junk wands, fillters , and have temp switches that fail because they are underated for the temperature the units produce. i have had all these issues with northern tools refusing to make anything right after warranty you own their pos with all the above problems and more ! if i can sell my unit i would and put it towards a real unit asap, 2,500 i paid for an electric 240 v, 2700psi 250 hot washer pure junk...

Looked at Hotsy...Nice unit, but way overpriced in my opinion. Landa is $1200 cheaper. Also considering an Alkota.

The Landa may be more expensive, but Hotsy is far from a bargain brand. Perhaps this guy hasn't priced a Hotsy.

Good sales video but whenever someone compares their product to another they are normally conceding that the other product is better. I have no dog in the fight but just to note, the majority of Hotsy pressure washers use 3 piston pumps. Also, having used downstream soap injection in the past, I can say I will never use it again. Difficult to make it work properly and only useful if you use a brush as well, as it comes out at very low pressure. Never had any issues with upstream soap injection.

A LOT of misinformation in this video...

Anytime you compare two products and the one you are pushing is more than double the price of the other model, you lose all credibility and look foolish.
