1. I have no idea what made you want to do totorioals on RUclips. But Thank you for listening to that voice. 2. I can't believe how easy it was to follow you. Thank you for the thorough directions. 3. Please keep the videos coming. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ 🧶 also I love the bloopers ❤
Very beautiful granny square. I never find such a beautiful and different granny square. You are a good teacher. I learnt a lot from your tutorial. Thanks for sharing it. God bless you.🎉🎉🎉
These are brilliant. i am new to crochet and have just made my first two-tone granny square. Thank you for showing us. I am in the UK and still managed to follow OK and have not seen another video showing them made this way.
Oh my goodness! How cute! Love all of your videos and ideas! I just finished enough granny squares to cover a little lamp shade so now I can work on some of the cute half square triangle ones for your cute little bag! You are amazing Erica…wish I could do 1/4 of what you do with fabric and yarn!
Erica, the tote bag is sooooo cute! I love the half square triangle granny squares - such a cute idea. I’m still working on my afghan - I’ve made almost 100. Looking forward to future granny square videos.
OMG what a wonderful video! I have been crocheting for a long time and I got such great information from this video! First, thank you for showing the easiest slipknot, its the one I always used. I love your style and your presentation. Really smooth. Thank you again SO VERY MUCH! 😆
Great teacher! Makes me want to drag out my hooks! Too bad I’m in the middle of two important quilt finishes with timelines😢…but I think I’ll save this for later😉❤
I'm on the two tone for the blanket now Yay me! Okay...so you mention that if it is round it's perhaps because I need to make sure I have two chains on each corner but at the start of the video 9:45 you only have one chain for the pink...would that not make it round? thank you btw for the tutorial
I would like to say thank you for sharing and showing it clearly for beginners too. I have a set of questions like Q1. What if I make say instead of CH4 I do CH5 by mistake and continue to do next further steps? Q2. What if I insert into the wrong hole while doing DC(sometimes I get confused while counting including hook hole)and continue to do the next further steps?
Hi! If you chain 4 instead of 3 your stitches will just look a bit looser there, but it’s not the end of the world. If you get your DC in the wrong stitch, you’ll see a little space there. It won’t matter much. The main thing to watch is to make sure you have the correct number of stitches for each side or your square will start not being square 😊
Hi Erica, eek hit the link and it says not found. It goes to your blog but the actual info isn't there. Hopefully just a link issue. These are fabulous!! I haven't gotten past the first 3 min of video jumped right over to blog lolol lol I'm curious are the large ones needed for what is being made? Is there a video/ blog pattern for that as well. 😂I know to many questions 😊
Hi, I decided to do a pillow with the larger squares, and I'm making a throw blanket using thicker yarn too! I'll show them coming soon! :) The blog post should be live, I think sometimes when you're too fast it's still posting :)
@@erica_arndt awesome, looking forward to it. I'm not sure about that being to quick lol o tried a few times over a lil while. But I'll certainly try again . Thanks sweety have a great day!
Excellent tutorial!! One of the best I have seen!! Thanks sooo much!!!

What a fabulous granny square. I've never seen it done that way. I think it's a beauty. Can't wait to see the next instalment. Thank you.
I can’t wait to try the corner dc. I’ve crocheted for 70 years and never seen it done that way. It’s a clean look.

I love to make and use HST in quilting, but didn't realize you could also make them in crochet. How fun. Love that yarn!
Yes, the HST granny square layout possibilities are endless!
You are a great teacher!!
Adorable!

Have you ever considered making a Fusion quilt.
Thanks for such a wonderful tutorial. I would have to use a thicker yarn. I love everything Lori Holt, but this yarn is really small.
Yes, it's quite thin! It's 2 weight which is basically fingering in my opinion. I used a chunkier yarn for my afghan and it worked great!
Would this yarn work for wash cloths? These are so cute. ❤
Yes, it's 100% cotton so would be great for that!
I want to learn, wish me luck. Where can I find the bigger hook also. And thank you so much for all you do.
Size E hook
Great

If we are crocheting, why in the intro showing the different sizes of squares and crochet hooks do you say you knitted?
Each corner should have two chains
Yes, each corner has two chains, one in white and one in pink. Hope that makes sense :)
Those are crocheted grannies, not knitted. Easy to make that mistake. LOL
You said knit it not knit, it’s crochet
