Mas mali yan, di dapat ginigisa at di dapat gumamit ng mantika kasi magmamantika lang ang sinigang. Yung method ni Panlasang pinoy kaya walang gisa, wala mantika & walang bawang, so ang resulta, lasang sinigang tlga, plus malapot ang sabaw, yan ang totoong sinigang kapag baboy. Bonus: hugas bigas ang ipinapakulo ko ng baboy, di karaniwang tubig lang.
What of these vegetables can I put into sinigang and what should I avoid altogether?....... Cucumber, malabar spinach, lettuce, chayote, bitter melon, cauliflower, broccoli, capsicum, mushrooms. I have a fridge full of leftovers and excess food from the garden I need to use up and I avoid many of them in some recipes but I absolutely love the power of tamarind to hide the flavour of other vegetables. I already use what is available from my vegie garden, onion (not garlic), tomato, (keep forgetting the fish sauce, so add salt at table), pepper, smaller round radishes, green and red chilli, okra (when my plants produce!!), eggplant, snake beans, bok choi instead of kang-kong (store bought in Australia as out of season to grow in present temperatures). My preference is double strength tamarind powder. I love it as is but will it be ruined by adding some of the other vegies. No taro as I'm on a keto diet while my wife is in the Philippines for many more weeks.

Very wrong ung way mo ng pagluto. Hindi ganyan ang tamang pgluto ng sinigang at tsaka wla pong bawang yan at hindi po yan ginigisa hahaha anong luto yan imbento mo lng yan eh 😂
We have different way on how to cook sinigang na baboy. Oo yung common is yung papakuluan talaga pero merong mga tao na mas gusto o nasasarapan sa paggisa muna ng sinigang na baboy. Hindi naman yan katulad ng baking na need talaga precise ang sukat at paggawa. Kaya let them be. Have a nice day
