All of these are so good! There are a few we haven't read and I'm going to try to find them. I would add "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh" and "The Hobbit" also the good and beautiful reprinted books are amazing.
My kids have loved these as well. We haven’t read quite all of them yet. I’ve never heard of that Version of Pilgrim’s Progress so I’ll def keep that in mind. We did the Little Pilgrim’s Progress that’s animals and they enjoyed that. My kids loved the My Side of the Mountain series. Personally I think the 1st one (My Side of the Mountain) is significantly better then the other 2 in the series, but it did teach alot about falcons which was great since we were studying birds. They also loved the In Grandma’s Attic series. They loved the Princess and the Goblin, so I should the other 2 you suggested.
Oh Grandma's attic was a hit here too! I have the set from when I was a little girl and my girls read them independently. So good! I'll look up that other series! 😍
I'm going through Narnia with my kids this year. We started with the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, then went to the Magician's Nephew and now back into Lion Witch Wardrobe again then will get into the rest after. It's been a delight sharing with my kids even at 2 and 5 years old!
Great recommendations! I also loved the Mandie books by Lois Gladys Leppard when I was a kid 😊 they are great historical fiction with a twist of mystery 😊👏🏻
I love these recommendations. Some I hadn't heard of before and am so excited to get for our home library. We love the Narnia series. We are currently reading "The Horse and his Boy"...my little one absolutely loves it and I do too. I am reading "Little Women" for the first time and am really enjoying it. And Little Pilgrim's Progress is truly so special and memorable. I want to read that one with my little girl again soon. Thank you souch for sharing these. 🙌☺️
I love all the recommendations! We are currently reading the burgess animal book for children but I do the audiobook! It’s a great idea to get books about the other animals! 😊

Love!! Yes, they're so wonderful for all ages! Even adults!
I see some great classics here. I like your warm, earthy background of the green (I think) wall and window etc. 🌻
Thank you! 🥰
