i wish you even knew the half of it, carlos santagio (doms older brother) died infront of marcus's eyes during the pendulum wars the whole bandana being removed thing is something marcus said to carlos carlos asked him if he ever took it off as he saw him showering with it on, marcus said he'd remove it the day the world was at peace if you haven't read the novels then fair play but i suggest you do they are incredible reads and fill plot holes there are so many references in the games

@crt4371 Earlier in the game a switch is stuck, Dom gives his knife to Marcus to help flip it and when he goes to hand it back Doms already walked away so he just holds on to it. So yes that was Doms, the one he got for completing commando training

@john1112371 pretty much hit the nail on the head. Anything with Imulsion exposure had said thing "purged" from the machine. Humans too, but they hardly had any imulsion exposure (Adam is an exception as he injected himself with it) Locust had said imulsion but as you said, not enough to mutate and the Lambent...well...self explanatory :)

I especially like the idea of the pendulum wars, or maybe playing as dom throughout the locust war when marcus is in prison. maybe Epic will come back to it at some point

It was a beautiful ending to a cruel uncaring world that no one ever expected to get such wonderful ending from. The way it ended was perfect and many felt it ruined it by trying to milk the franchise even more.

What Marcus's Dad didn't realize is that it was certainly enough to kill the Lambent but all it did to the Locust was mutate them into something worse, the Swarm. Otherwise there would be no Gear's of War 4.
TBH i was more impacted with Adam Fenix dying more than dom dying. Dom's death was sad yes, but the whole slow motion and everyone dying kinda killed the sadness, while seeing marcus almost collapse and watch his father disintegrate right in front of him seemed sadder to me
@andytehgilley I'd like more DLC with Zeta Squad, I liked the range of different characters and I welcomed Tai back into the game the first time I played the DLC, I'd like to see if they turned parts of the comics into actual DLC's for the actual game.
