Brit Rock fuck right off second albums a right off. you don't get it. laced that's quality. the album ye good stuff 2nd album tripe. Manchester loved them like their own. let's hope they give their heads a wobble and come back to madchester with the next album or they have gone the way of kings if Leon etc.. fucking thumbs down for this masses pleaser
Brit Rock . Let’s get it straight, they are Aussie through and through, not pommies, Aussie Aussie Aussie, boys boys boys! The best obviously seeing as how you all seem to want to compare it to Manchester music.👍🇦🇺
Brit Rock . Have a listen to them doing Cher’s song Believe on Triple J’s like a version to hear how good these guys actually are. Two acoustic guitars and a vocalist, you won’t hear better 👍🇦🇺
I really don’t understand how the radio stations don’t play this . It’s absolutely amazing and they are the best band in Australia hands down . Only triple j plays them And It’s frustrating me because australia needs to get behind this band .
Would you rather be able to enjoy this everytime you want to listen to it, or do you want radio to force it upon you? Radio kills good musicians, and songs. I'm glad they don't play it on radio, they're getting more and more famous by the time so give it a year or two and they'll be known all around. =)
Focohi I just want everyone to hear them , they deserve it . The radio stations play absolute rubbish , it used to be about the music . Now it’s just about money and who is trending .
They will eventually, but who wants to hear any band they like.. On the radio? It's as you're saying, radio ONCE was great, but not anymore. It will butcher DMA for loads of people.
It’s just the way pop music scene is in the world at the moment, it seems to be more about celebrity and who’s got the most Instagram followers then the actual quality of music itself and it’s fucked up because there are so many quality bands and artists around atm especially in aus that just don’t seem to be getting the recognition they deserve, the sheer fact that drake and post Malone seem to be the biggest trending artists in the world atm says a lot about the shitty state of popular music.
Plus younger people seem to have no interest in listening to a full album right the way through now let alone giving it a second or third chance, if nothing jumps out at them right away they’d rather just turn on nova and listen to whatever rubbish those cunts try and force down your throat and tell you is “the hottest music right now”
One of the most underrated bands of recent years, I think they came around just at the right time as well, us Britpop/Indie music lovers were in desperate need of something fresh. I seen them once in Glasgow a few years back now and I'll be back again, Tom's voice is sensational.
Please enlighten me... why is this band so unpopular? They sound like at least 5 iconic bands mixed together and they have their own vibe... howcome they have only 93k likes on facebook? They just got around 20k for all year... this is just sad that people don't wanna support such artists... haven't seen greater band in many years!! Every song is 10/10 quality... amazing!!
there is a level of genuineness to DMA's that simply tares through a music industry too focused on culture and image. there music is pure and disconnected from sickening pride.
Fair play Liam G for getting these alongside for a massive gig. Noel was asked about these and very egotistically replied that he had never heard of them and they didn't sound like Oasis. Whilst he's off touring with U2, Liam is giving these lads a good crack. Gutted they aren't supporting him at Manchester.
I cannot put this song and time and money out of my head all day long. I get home from work and jump on the iPad with headphones on and keep playing it on and on and still love it to death. So great to hear REAL music again as I get to 55....keep it up boys, you have a wide age audience at your feet. As a shock bonus I began following a band called Underlights about 7 years ago and disappeared without a trace. Blow me down...Tommy was the drummer, Johnny was the bass player and now I’m in heaven. 10/10 boys.
Listen ..I’m from the north of the UK ..grew up in the 90s ,oasis ,stone roses ,charlatans ,sea horses ......all great but fucking hell there’s something so great about this band ...way above the rest
been into this band for over two years. seen the charlatans stone roses happy mondays inspiral carpets and many more. followed this scene for 30 years . am 47 years of age and this band are a breath of fresh air. why there music is not played on the radio I will never no
Change what you need, cause I'm picking up the bones Fell from hills and I'm heading home alone I don't need no fire to show me how to spark Hello be thy enemy, I'll lead you through the dark And it's free when you keep it It's cool and unique Never tear down common ground I'll give you what you need [Verse 2] A brothers speed in need, cause I know just where to go I don't need no enemy to tell you where to hold And its free when you keep it it It's cool and unique Never tear down common ground I'll give you what you need [Chorus] Do I need you now, did I need you then I don't know now but I'll figure it out In a time to leave, in a space to mend I don't know how but I'll make it the end And I heard this time but silenced them You tear me up and split it at the end Do I need you now, did I need you then I don't know now but I'll figure it out [Verse 3] Change what you need, cause I'm picking up the bones Fell from Hills End, I'm heading home alone And it's free when you need it now It's cool and unique Never tear down common ground I'll give you what you need [Chorus] Do I need you now, did I need you then I don't know now but I'll figure it out In a time to leave, in a space to [?] I don't know how but I'll make it the end And I heard this time but silenced them You tear me up and split it at the end Do I need you now, did I need you then I don't know now but I'll figure it out I know that you will be here I know that you will be here (ring it out) I know that you will be here I know that you will be here (ring it out) I know that you will be here (ring it out) I know that you will be here
You could say that about at least six of the songs on the album. It is a coherent whole. They are fantastic. But my favourite track is ‘in the air’ or ‘the end’ or this one or .....
Ok, so I know I am late to the party…..but boy, what a sound! Finally an Aussie band that can not only match the great sound of groups like Oasis, but hold their own with lyrics that are relatable, meaningful and make so much sense. Thank you DMA’s you have made a 55yr old so happy. You are what I have been waiting for.
"I don't need no fire, to show me how to spark, hallowed be thy enemy, I'll lead you through the dark" one of the best lyrics I've ever heard. See you at Finsbury Park lads for the 4th time I've seen yah hahaha!
If Dmas where about anytime before the 2000s they would have done really well. Just happens they are in an era where a majority of peoples music taste is shit
Was worried how the boys would follow up such a fantastic debut album but For Now has been on repeat with me ever since it’s release, tune after tune, whether it’s Time and Money, Emily Whyte or Warsaw. Fantastic follow up and can’t wait too see these boys again for the 5th time, one of the best bands about currently. ❤️
Real music. So very refreshing in this day and age where I tune in and instantly tune out of every single radio station in Australia (except for Tomorrowland on PBS).
being there since the very beginning as a fan and hearing this now and seeing them a few nights ago. . . they're evolution has simply been a beautiful thing to watch. They've grown so much as songwriters and performers, evolving their music to a bigger, more grandiose sound. Already excited to see what they do next. Such a great band and one of Australia's best
I’ve. Only discovered the dmas in the last few days, what a breath of fresh air (even with their 90s sound) in Today’s shite music, give these boys more radio time and they’ll take off, fantastic!!

It took an Aussie band in 2018 to produce one of the best Britpop belters I've ever heard.
Brit Rock fuck right off second albums a right off. you don't get it. laced that's quality. the album ye good stuff 2nd album tripe. Nicoli Tesla I can honestly say you are the first person I’ve seen slag this band off. Congrats !
Nicoli Tesla u are wrong tho

I have been listening to music for 50 years. This band is the toppermost of the poppermost. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
Face of a bricklayer voice of an angel
😂😂

Because sadly this is the X Factor age.
I've just been listening to their single silver, heard it for the first time about a week ago. cant get enough of it. what a band, totally agree.
Coz music's on its arse these days mate 🙄🙄
They're not unpopular its just people these days can't appreciate great music
@@dreamcatcher3622 Top comment. I'm stealing that. Cheers
I'm 52 ,never to old to appreciate good music 🎶
there is a level of genuineness to DMA's that simply tares through a music industry too focused on culture and image. there music is pure and disconnected from sickening pride.
Tirrux Official yeah man . I can’t get over how talented they are . The acoustic stuff is on a whole new level .
yeah, there cardinal session for dawning is one of my all-time favorite songs.
Tirrux Official I totally agree , in the air is so good too .
Tirrux Official I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. they have gone over produced you clearly do not get it
Well said my friend
one of the most underrated band the world ever see
Takes me back to the 90s!

Noel has disapearred up his own ass mate. It kills as lot big oasis fans including me.
I have only had to pull over while driving twice in my entire life to fully appreciate what an epic song this is!
Up there with one of the best tracks I've ever heard..gets played everyday by me...
Just discovered and easily my new favorite band. Haven't been this excited about finding a certain artist/band in years.
Glorious song
I cannot put this song and time and money out of my head all day long.
I get home from work and jump on the iPad with headphones on and keep
playing it on and on and still love it to death.

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, I'm in tears right now.
this young fella....oozes brilliance i havent heard before in australia..they have international quality....
Just discovered their songs now, wow I’m quite surprised with how good they are. Reminiscent of 90s music.
I just love the dma's I saw them at Wembley recently and just discovering their brilliant sons they have that 90s brit pop vibe
Even us 50 year olds think they are brilliant
You've got that dead-set right, because we know good stuff when we hear it.
Damn straight we do
... so true ...
55 and i just shared the link on my facebook page :)
55 in the US and they are my favorite band right now!
Best band since the early 2000's.... picked up the torch the Libertines left.
Change what you need, cause I'm picking up the bones
Fell from hills and I'm heading home alone
I don't need no fire to show me how to spark
Hello be thy enemy, I'll lead you through the dark
And it's free when you keep it
It's cool and unique
Never tear down common ground
I'll give you what you need
[Verse 2]
A brothers speed in need, cause I know just where to go
I don't need no enemy to tell you where to hold
And its free when you keep it it
It's cool and unique
Never tear down common ground
I'll give you what you need
[Chorus]
Do I need you now, did I need you then
I don't know now but I'll figure it out
In a time to leave, in a space to mend
I don't know how but I'll make it the end
And I heard this time but silenced them
You tear me up and split it at the end
Do I need you now, did I need you then
I don't know now but I'll figure it out
[Verse 3]
Change what you need, cause I'm picking up the bones
Fell from Hills End, I'm heading home alone
And it's free when you need it now
It's cool and unique
Never tear down common ground
I'll give you what you need
[Chorus]
Do I need you now, did I need you then
I don't know now but I'll figure it out
In a time to leave, in a space to [?]
I don't know how but I'll make it the end
And I heard this time but silenced them
You tear me up and split it at the end
Do I need you now, did I need you then
I don't know now but I'll figure it out
I know that you will be here
I know that you will be here
(ring it out)
I know that you will be here
I know that you will be here
(ring it out)
I know that you will be here
(ring it out)
I know that you will be here
You don’t get anymore Brit pop than a black and white council easte music video, marvellous stuff xxx
favourite track from For Now! So damn good
completely agree
Just started to listen to DMA'S Love their tunes.
You could say that about at least six of the songs on the album.
It is a coherent whole.
They are fantastic.
But my favourite track is ‘in the air’ or ‘the end’ or this one or .....
Totally
Same
Brilliant song, brilliant band! Can’t understand why there’s 96 dislikes!!
You are what I have been waiting for.
im kinda late as well. dont worry!
have you check their believe triple a version? :D his voice is heavenly there
I keep coming back to this song/video. It’s haunting, it’s hypnotic. It’s graphic….
Hope someday they'll make it big, because they deserve it. Much love from Italy.
2020 will be a turning point for them, especially after the release of "Silver "( what a tune)
Recently got tuned in to these guys. As a Britpop veteran can really say they’re up there with anybody. Truly a great band
"I don't need no fire, to show me how to spark, hallowed be thy enemy, I'll lead you through the dark" one of the best lyrics I've ever heard. See you at Finsbury Park lads for the 4th time I've seen yah hahaha!
Cannot fucking wait till Finsbury Park!!
Finsbury is gonna be epic!
Too right lads! ;)

Reviving the sound of the 90s
If Dmas where about anytime before the 2000s they would have done really well. Just happens they are in an era where a majority of peoples music taste is shit
💯% agreed on that mate it's unfortunate truly
Never heard this until today.. what.. the.. fuck.. this is amazing - where are people's heads at??
Was worried how the boys would follow up such a fantastic debut album but For Now has been on repeat with me ever since it’s release, tune after tune, whether it’s Time and Money, Emily Whyte or Warsaw. Fantastic follow up and can’t wait too see these boys again for the 5th time, one of the best bands about currently. ❤️

What a tune, what an album, what a band!!! The best
Real music. So very refreshing in this day and age where I tune in and instantly tune out of every single radio station in Australia (except for Tomorrowland on PBS).
Favourite band. Rare to have a second album sound this good. Class
Great song from a fantastic band, why it isn't on many more views is staggering. One of the best bands currently around for me.
Fooking fantastic band
En El Salvador tenemos buenos gustos también 😁
My favorite song at this moment. I cannot stop listening to it
Best song!!
This song, this video itself is a big REVIVAL. Impressive DMA'S.
Solo unos oídos privilegiados pueden apreciar la calidad de esta banda. No apta para gente carente de buen gusto musical.
Well done, such a haunting track. You guys never fail to amaze me.
These lads have some fucken mega tunes
Has Vibes from 2000 or 2004 and I love it!
Quite Simply...."The Dog's Bollocks"
Perfect statement right here.
yet another belter.
I love how they show how programmed everyone is and the surveillance cameras! Great song!
being there since the very beginning as a fan and hearing this now and seeing them a few nights ago. . . they're evolution has simply been a beautiful thing to watch. They've grown so much as songwriters and performers, evolving their music to a bigger, more grandiose sound. Already excited to see what they do next. Such a great band and one of Australia's best
The best, simple
I had a kangol bucket hat back in the 90’s! Fair play boys, best band around at the moment.
the videos filmed in blackwall, london, i walked through the underpass to get to the dlr station every day for a year :)
Best band around atm
I’ve. Only discovered the dmas in the last few days, what a breath of fresh air (even with their 90s sound) in Today’s shite music, give these boys more radio time and they’ll take off, fantastic!!
Only just come across this band, and I'm glad I did, Quality.

Brilliant
La arquitectura de este video es fantástica ✨
Josep hioph Bengala
Discovering the band for the first time. Loving it!
Dear British people reading this. Yes, you had all of Australia dancing around in the nineties with Britpop, and before then with Joy Division and New Order. But Australia has its own incredible music scene (sans Iggy Azalea and Sia, sorry about those two idiots!). It's just that no one outside of Australia really knows what our music is like. If you like this guys, I suggest looking up Sticky Fingers, Total Control, Eddie Current Suppression Ring. You probably already know of Tame Impala and, but you should look up the Like a Version cover of "How to make Gravy" by Luca Brasi.
There is something really special about this one! I can’t imagine all the work you must have put into it. As another musician, I can say that your songs touch something that most don’t these days. Keep up the fantastic work! 💖
Loving the dmas - great album, great sound! 👍
Best band in recent years by far
Recently just found out about this band. Been replaying constantly since. Keep up the good work guys 👌
I saw you on Finsbury, you're the future that we are waiting for.
This is the best song
LOVE DMA's............. all the way from UK!!!!
I haven’t heard a bad song from them, so good!
PERFECT..... In every way.
COOL and unique
This music video was filmed entirely in the Kent Street, Sydney CBD to York Street, Sydney CBD Pedestrian underpass.
John Nudle, Blackwall, NSW, 2257, AUSTRALIA
The clip was actually filmed in London - underneath the A1261,
adjacent to Blackwall Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station to be precise. Have a look on Google street view and you will recognise some of the distinctive structures, such as the three-legged advertising billboards, the decoration on the sides of the flyover, and some of the surrounding buildings.
Sure looks like it’s Kent street. That’s only 10 minutes from where they live. Can anyone confirm? Or was it in fact shot in London?
the videos filmed in blackwall, london, i walked through the underpass to get to the dlr station every day for a year :)
Definitely under Blackwell station on the DLR near poplar
Sure does look like Kent Street but it isn't - the background buildings are wrong & so are the pedestrian signs
Comment section was hit by advertiser marketing just to "give you what you need" .. what a day to figure this out. I'm older and I need to pee, not right now but regularly for some sense of liberation. The song can go on. DJ crack this song's distillation and send the tonic remedy.
sensing an almost Powderfinger vibe but then so classicly DMAs at the same time. such a track tho.
Quality band. Onwards and upwards
I dont need no fire t'show me how to spark. Greetings from South Wales (the original South Wales that is).
