@@GardenGateMagazine And I would love to have you back! what I love about gardening is that you can create these incredible tapestries of color and texture... and it changes every season. come on back in May 2025... and you can see the garden in its spring glory... Alliums, Wisteria, Geums, Foxglove, Delphiniums, and SO much more :) Thanks for doing such a great interview, lots of fun.
It is so refreshing to see a garden where the dahlias are integrated into the garden bed design. Very lovely and inspiring garden. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.
Beautiful gardens all the differnt colors just blend so beautifully. I do have several flowers gardens as well, and please tell me the trick of getting rid of moles, what a pest they are! Thank you for sharing. Genie : )
We're so glad you enjoyed the gardens! It's hard to fight those moles. We believe Lisa sets traps for them and uses the 5 gal buckets to locate them and keep anyone from stepping on them. Thanks for watching.
Awesome garden tour. I love Lisa's enthusiasm. I now have many Dahlia names to write down. All beautiful. Will you tell us the name of the Geum that is your biggest seller. I've collected 4 now, my orange one is called "Cooky" I really enjoy them. Thanks for all the garden tips for design.
Glad you enjoyed the tour! We believe Lisa sets traps for them and uses the 5 gal buckets to locate them and keep anyone from stepping on them. Good luck with yours.
Beautiful garden ❤ Question about planting the dahlias. I love that idea! I'm curious if you put the gravel on top of the tubers, burying the tubers with gravel?
I loved this tour. Great garden, amazingdesign. I live in the UK. If Lisa wants her garden to be truly English, stop saying 'Fall' and call it Autumn 😅😅😅
So beautiful. Was there one particular Geum that was your favorite? Blazing Sunset, Tempest Coral, Totally Tangerine? Is there a particular cultivar that blooms longest for you?
Her Totally Tangerine blooms for a long time due to constant deadheading. She has varieties that bloom at different times, which provide six months of blooms. Wish we could all have that climate! Thanks for watching.
Very true. Pelargoniums are tender perennials but they’re often called annuals in a casual way and often sold that way especially for container gardening. Plus it kind of helps distinguish them from true perennial geraniums. Hope we didn’t confuse anyone! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Lovely to see her in her habitat.
We agree! Thaks for watching and commenting.
Love! Please go back for a tour next spring or summer.
Thank you. We would love to go back!

Thanks for watching. She mixes gravel with her compost to plant the tubers and then does add gravel over the top. I hope this helps.
Awesome, thank you!

She said her geum blooms for 6 months! I’d love to know what variety that is.

You seem to be confusing (hardy)geraniums and pelargoniums, which aren’t actually annuals they just don’t usually make it through northern winters
