Hi Gemma, I came across this post looking for information about myocarditis. I was diagnosed with it last June. It was terrible for a while, I literally couldn't walk upstairs. I was recovering but caught covid in October. I was fine for a while but in the last two weeks I have started having symptoms again - chest pain, breathlessness and tiredness. I had an MRI in August which confirmed Myocarditis and that I did not have any scarring. It is actually very reassuring to hear that you have also had more than one bout, because this is not something that is ever mentioned on websites. I am waiting to see the consultant. The waiting list here is 30 weeks, so I should be getting toward the top now. What painkillers do you use? I have iboprofen on the basis that they are anti-inflammatories. Thank you and best wishes. I hope your recovery continues. Anna xx

Hi Anna, so lovely to hear from you :-) This is exactly why I wanted to share my experience, as I had found limited information myself and was a little lost. The tiredness/fatigue is incredible, really debilitating. Oh that's interesting that your MRI picked up the Myocarditis; I'm still waiting to have mine. Hoping for good news that there is no scarring. Yes, this is my third time now, which definitely worries me as of course the more it happens, the more chance of scarring. I've also taken longer to recover this time. I'm still on stronger medication from the doctor but hoping to wean off again soon. I was on Naproxin but have moved to Colchicine and an anti-sickness med to control my nausea and dizziness. Ibuprofen would definitely be my go to after coming off these. Thank you, take care of yourself x

So sorry you have been unwell. I hope you recover soon. I hope youve had chance to look at other vaccine injury stories. More and more are coming out. Please take care. Xxx

Yes, there does seem to be a link towards the vaccine, which is why I only had two rounds. Thank you, I will ☺️

Oh lord. I don't know why this popped up, but I wish you well. You look good, but I know that doesn't mean much. My daughter and grandkids live in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. I live in the states. Cheers.

Thank you, that’s very kind of you. Cambridgeshire is a beautiful part of the country ☺️

I posted on your other video. I notice on the second day you posted that you look like me when I am going through a bout. The dark circles under my eyes are really pronounced like you can see the body is struggling. I was curious what your o2 levels are at when you are in a bout? Sending you gentle virtual hugs.

That's really interesting, my dark circles were awful this time! They've been getting better now and I will be doing another follow up video in the coming weeks - I've turned the corner now and definitely feeling much better than I was. Hoping it lasts! I honestly don't know as was so out of it and don't have access to those numbers - although I may find out when my cardiac appointment finally comes around. The waiting lists are so long currently over here in the UK, it's taking a long time. Do you know what your numbers were?

@GemmaLouiseWallis I also apologize I didn't intend to offend you by the comment. I honestly thought mine were from age until they went away and then came back after I felt like I was having a bought after a very, very bad cold. I bought an pulse and oxygen reader from the pharmacy. Today my heart rate was over 100 and my oxygen was 98-97. I know that's not considered low to the Dr's but I really notice a difference in my coloring and breathlessness in general especially with exertion. I use a lot of color corrector to try to cover up my under eyes bc it's kind of depressing to hear people notice you look pretty awful when you're struggling. Kind of fake it til I make it mentality. I have my 6 month check up next month. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I'm so happy to hear you are feeling a bit better 💛

Oh gosh, you haven’t offended me at all! I appreciate you taking the time to comment ☺️ I’ll have to try and find out what mine were/are. It was definitely the worst my under eyes have ever been, so I wonder if it was linked to oxygen levels and stress on my body now you’ve said that. I know what you mean with ‘faking it till you make it’, that feels like my daily mentality! Please let me know how you get on, I’d love to check in on you. Take care of yourself 🥰
