  • Hi guys hope you are all doing well. This is a video on the quick change tool post for the cue smith pool cue lathe. The installation is very similar to a quick change post on a standard metal lathe and the calibration works the same way. I hope you guys find it helpful. For more information on the tool post or some of my other projects check out the links below as well as make sure you hit the like , share and subscribe buttons here on youtube.

I have been doing pool cue maintenance for years and this is one of the best features that I have added to my lathe. Nice presentation. Well worth the money spent.

Luv your vids because you use many different mediums and I think out of all vids I've seen you are most centered sincere and creative. I am a 54 year old who was diagnosed with moderate ADHD when last year my mind started to unravel for no reason after lots of hyper focused research I highly suspected that I had undiagnosed ADHD ...long story short found an educated specialist in the field which confirmed what I was pretty sure of already ...I was given some meds to help get my mind working lil more optimally and began starting my life over. Hyper focused on what I was facing I made the decision to focus on creating because it gives me freedom to explore without getting hellishly bored after few months..( I had never created anything but would just move from hobby to hobby) I discovered an old lathe in my stepfather's shop and began to dig it out repair it and clean it. Looks like and really old craftsman value of around $2000 looks like it was used for metal ...can this be used for wood and resin or should I get something better that I can use indefinitely?? Thanks for the great posts

One thing you can do for aligning your tool bit is to use a live center or dead center and set your height off the point of those…

Hey are you still producing cues? I tried to email your woodworking address and it wouldn’t sent. Just had some questions on colors, costs etc.

Is in my opinion and if you are doing multiple process often on the same machine. Just my opinion though. Thanks for watching.
