Love Joan Bennett in these scenes. It is nice to see Judith come into her own. The phone call between her and Trask was priceless. "You will not get out of that room!"
"Only the other day you were saying to me how you wanted to spend the rest of your life in this house. Well now that is possible. I have arranged it." Judith is far more sadistic with Gregory Trask than Barnabas was with his grandfather back in 1795.
Great scene --Evan tells Trask, " Your days are numbered ,Trask. Don't you realize that?" Humbert will return when they go to the 20th century but not right away.
I think that Trask and Aristede deserve what happens to them! Evan Handley got what he deserved, too! Stupid, evil men! Hurrah for Judith! ~Janet in Canada
Wow, Blackwood always keeps pursuing that coward & villainous Aristede and tries to kill him. Whilst Evan Hanley was alone, Blackwood appeared & strangled him. Then Judith (Joan Bennett) arranged to have her villainous & unfaithful husband Trask killed by locking him up in the West Wing room.
Trask is the same as ever evil person they think it's ok to harm others but when done to them they don't like it. and pled like babies for it to end. Trask was crying the blues wanting out of the room...the big baby...
@@patrickperalta59 And Gregory Trask snivels that he is a victim after what he did to Jamison and Nora at Worthington Hall. Had his own wife murdered. Had Judith committed so he can sink his claws into Collinwood. This Trask is being bricked up in Quentins room. He has nothing to whine about. His Grandfather was bricked up in a alcove by Barnabas in the basement of the old house.
@@patrickperalta59Touche! His grandfather the reverend Trask in 1796 was crying the blues while Barnabas was sealing him up with bricks to the alcove of the old house basement.
You are exactly right. Judith tricks Trask into drinking the brandy that results in him fainting. Tim Shaw bricks up the entryway to Trask's new prison. Charity/Pansy was not in the episode.
I'd like to think that Pansy/Charity does stay on at Collinwood and that she and Judith become very good friends. There is something Pansy Faye in Judith's gown, jewels and colors in these scenes.
Based on what we know when the show goes to the 20th century, Julia hears the voices of Charity/Pansy and Magda . I think she will stay at Collinwood with Judith and Edward.
@@jonhinson5701 I like this answer very much. I was thinking about EmilyAnn's question when we got to the end of 1897. It seemed so fast that not all of the storylines seemed finished. I guess that's life!
That little prop gun gets a lot of usage. It's not a real gun. It's a blank firing stage gun . But, it looks rather like one of the little nickel-plated pocket revolvers that could be had for $2or $3 dollars in the 1890s. Unlike a western, the gun is not the star of this show.

Just the scenes where Ms. Bennett smiles after talking to Trask on the phone are all I need for a smile.
Agree!!!! And in the previous installments, towards the end, she wore that hot pink and flaming red outfit. So appropriate!
all the different scenes of the various versions of trask and their demise are great! jerry lacy was great!

Judith's lipstick perfectly matches her dress. Someone was on the ball!
OMG, I never expected Aristede to plead to Rev. Trask. Truly a duo right out of the pit of hell.
Wow wow! First thank u most exquisite channel, second can't help but noticing everything in the eyes, Judith looks wonderful in magenta
Thank you. You are always so kind.
Justice !
Blackwood is one scarey dude!

Why cant there be more thunderstorms in this show?

You ever hear better the devil you know? But it's hard to choose which devil is the biggest devil? Lol
Judgement day at Collinwood for Trask. Poetic justice for all the injustices he has inflicted on innocent people in the past.

Omg now trask becomes the telephone ghost instead of Quinten oh la la is it????
ahhhj Edwardian Shakespeare!
Blackwood was SCARY!!!
Blackwood was scary but that was one of John Harkins best roles 👍.
@bruce8808 absolutely.
He was good in everything he did. ❤
I never saw a kangaroo like that before and I think it is a baby I'm not sure I asked my husband and he thought he saw a baby too
😮
I think Trask has been captured by that Jigsaw guy!! 😂😂😂😊😊😊
How did Judith manage to subdue Trask? Did she give him something in a drink? Also, did Tim help with the brickwork? Was Pansy there, too?
