Joe, The bass player is Bakithi Khumalo. He has been Paul Simon's bass player for the last 25 years. It was his last night with TTB filling in for six shows in between bassists. I had an amazing 20 minute conversation with him outside after the show. He was telling me how they misspelled his name in the credits of the Graceland album and how he played at the rock & roll hall of fame show a few years ago with Simon & Garfunkel. He also was telling me how intricate the TTB tunes are! Very cool!
