don’t over use protein, if you over use it, it will actually cause breakage.
but it’s easier to reverse a protein overload. just wash the products out and moisturize a ton
Bridget, not true. Too much protein will end up in breakage. You can't get it back once it's gone. I learned the hard way. I am protein sensitive and didnt understand why I was getting so much snapping but using all the products suggested. Coconut oil Is high in protein and I was using products that contained containing coconut. Once I stopped within a month all the breakage stopped.

l use the Ion protein also, but only once a week. Condition other times. My hair is over 3 feet long and very healthy. I do not bleach or dye it in any manner. I learned my lesson about that when I was younger. I do have clip-in extensions that I wear if I want bright colors. They don't do any damage. (Jan Griffiths).
For how much u bleached it, it looks very healthy still, I destroyed my hair with bleach a few years ago and it’s finally all the same length 😩 ur hair however is still hanging in! The color is beautiful 😍

I did this before I was a hairstylist lol I know better now than to kill my own hair but I got it cut like my profile photo which is old and it took me about a year to fully have all the gross hair gone I just grew it to my natural now it’s been colored safely
Aka Aislinn I’m guessing it’s dry and hard to brush through? Olaplex smooths out my dry ends so the brush goes through my hair easier.
Hi! I am a licensed stylist! The oil I great, but I’d recommend picking up some olaplex and leaving it in your hair for 20 mins once a week, as well as following with a strengthening mask such as joico! Kevin Murphy also makes some great de damaging products for the hair! I melted off my hair once and it’s no fun, but hey could be worse! Still looks great looking forward to more vids xoxoxo

I literally use/ have used every product you recommended and you’re 100% right, those products were the only ones that saved my hair when I did the same thing! The anti snap especially!

Idk if you have a Paul Mitchell school near you, but we do keratin and moisturizing deep conditions. It’s called hydra Keri-triplex deep condition. It did miracles to my hair just doing it twice. I had a stylist fry my hair a year ago and I can finally touch it with out cringing now lol.
I'm so glad you still have this video up, because i just did the same thing! 😭 Wasn't even going for white, i was just trying to get a neutral base to do slices of red, purple, and green!

I watched all of your going blonder videos last night while marathoning my own hair 😂 I wanna share a mistake I made... used 40vol on my roots with ions absolute perfection (which equates to 30 vol with the add in) now, my roots lifted like perfectly, but the lightener I used (clairol) is definitely not something I will use again Bc it burned SO BAD. That additive works similarly to olaplex from what I’ve seen/heard and if you don’t have it you should definitely try it. I was really afraid my hair would fall out... but it didn’t. No breakage. No fall out. I’m in love.

Girl I FRIED mine about 6 years ago and my breakage was so much worse than yours and my hair was still yellow. I would legit use 40 vol under a hooded dryer for 1.5 hours every 2-3 weeks. Before I knew better 😂 my hair was broken off 1-2” from my scalp basically everywhere and it never dried on its own. It could stay wet for days

Oh yup, had this happen so many times. Ended up shaving my whole head twice and just wear wigs, lmfao. You’d think I’d learn, but nah.

Love watching you videos. Makes me feel i’m not the only one got breakage. I used olaplex still didn’t help. I don’t care if i were bald. I rather risk my asian hair for blonde than have just regular black healthy hair. While i still have my hair to bleach, i’ll do it again.

Your hair doesnt look bad, I have some hair loss as well. I am taking biotin and rogaine. So far it's keeping most the hair I have. I'm always looking for other things to help with hair loss.
James you can try collagen peptides. I use the vital proteins collagen peptides and it’s helped me more than anything else. Also, omega 3 is recommended for hair health as well. Don’t use shampoo with sulfates.
Unfortunately as soon as you stop using Rogaine your hair will fall out again. Biotin is good but there is a DIY trick that I tell my patients and it really works. It has been shown to re grow hair in people with alopecia. Use the juice from a purple onion ( has more juice ) and rub it in your scalp and leave it on for 45 min twice a week. Take some before photos to track your progress. It mimics the same RX ingredients I give my patients for hair loss.

Aussie 3 min miracle has silicones and other ingredients that aren't great for curly girls. It's AH-mazing for non-curly hair though! I used to use it as my daily conditioner!

I’ve been bleaching hair for 4 years, bleached a set of extensions and they literally started SIZZLING. Fried and now to a reconstruction conditioner and hail oil soak in the sink.
I feel you tho. Cuz this shit happened to me. Luckily my hair was 24 inch + and all I had to do was chop it off. There’s go my whole 6 years of growing out my hair. It’s been 2 years now supper dope. I’m at shoulder length. Also my hair grew slower i think I had a scalp issue. Pretty sure we good now. I noticed 6 month ago I finally got length. Yay

I guess this is what happened to my back, all of a sudden I have this spot thats super short. The funny thing is, it must have happened with toning cause I haven't bleached my ends in a long time.
I’m soooooo sad I did this today! I did a baking soda treatment to get bright purple and yellow out. Then root touch up and a bleach bath for the rest of the color. Most of the hair around my left side broke off. It’s an inch from my scalp too. I didn’t even do anything crazy to my hair! It’s also been almost a month since my last bleach. Ughhhhh

Oh myyyy i wish i saw this before i did what you did😂 i blech it color it blond then recolored it and then around november i bleached it more made it white blond and then 1 week later i wanted my normal hair back so i color it back ..it turn a brown green...so i did it again and my hair isnt falling that bad but its not good 😢 but its going through treatments but its annoying and tireing already

Your hair looks heathy compared to mine it’s bleached and super tangled and frizzy. No matter how many times I brush it, it’ll instantly get tangled kinda like you haven’t brushed for weeks. Knotted hair😭

So I bleached my hair again, I only needed to do the middle shaft but my dumb ass KNEW better & wasn’t paying attention & not I lost about 6 or 7 inches of hair. My hair is now a little longer than my hair & I hate it. I have so much breakage on my left side, that’s what makes me hate the cut or else I would love the bob look.

This is what happens from lightening (let's call it what it is, bleaching). I have lightened to a platinum blonde that I usually color in shades of pink and peach. However, I must keep it short, which suits me just fine. Otherwise it would be a deep fried mess.

Pretty kitty. Get his nails trimmed. A groomer can show you how. It's really easy though. I trim our cats' nails (we have 3) every 10-14 days. Blunt nails don't scratch so badly. (Jan Griffiths).
Hey I dye my hair loads of times but when I bleach it it turns turquoise and my hair keep falling out even thou I haven’t bleached it so what do I do to stop my hair from falling out ??
bleach wont remove color, so if your hair is dyed already and you havent removed the color first (by washing and using color removers) and you go to dye it, it will have a weird tint. i recommend watching some Brad Mondo! and if your hair is falling out, try getting a couple inches cut off and using hair masks when you wash your hair. also its important not to over wash your hair. i only wash mine every 3 days but thats because its short right now, when my hair is past my shoulders i only wash every 4 - 5 days, using dry shampoo to keep it looking and smelling clean.

What causes breakage around the crown of your head?
Having your hair tied too high or tight, literally go on ebay find a silk hair scrunchie or something resembling silk and it will REALLY help. Shampooing too hard or vigorously, something rubbing on your hair. Switch to a silk pillowcase or if that's too expensive satin xxx
