I am a huge fan of Kevin Hart. He comes across as incredibly confident, which I see now comes from having a great support system, a great tight group of friends. My favorite tip: Develop thick skin. That is essential! But don’t disassociate. Don’t become numb. That can be paralyzing. But thick skin does help you persevere.
My wake up moment is with rule #4 "What Now?" I went through a stand still in freelance video editing just to relocate and start documenting the move. Being in need for finances, I remained working my regular 9-5. In the process of my life transition, I just injured my back and by doctors orders I have to go on FMLA. During rule #4, I realized that my "what now" occurred by injuring my back. So my "what now" is taking my video editing skills and getting certified in tricasting. I am about to upgrade my skills and focus more on my talents. So this is my plan to answer: "What Now?"
Being frustrated takes lots of energy choose positivity. Don't be afraid of failure Fail your way to success Ask yourself what now. constantly be asking yourself what now? Grind. you aren't in competition with anyone but yourself.
Really needed to hear #6, giving everyday 100% but still waking up in the same spot. Exactly how I feel right now with trying to start a business, everyday I work my regular 6:30am - 3:00pm job then go work a side job for another 4 hours. Get home around 8 - 9 and then gotta go to sleep so I can wake up at 4:30am, get a workout in and get ready for work. Life is just work right now, and feels like nothing's moving but if I keep this up for 5 years something's gotta happen.

Great video, thanks Evan Carmichael. You inspire me aswell as kevin creating motivational videos for us the audience to watch it's not easy, even though you make it look easy, It's hard work, you've shown me that anything is possible. What I've learnt and taken from kevin hart is to never give up, when people say "NO" keep grinding, keep pushing, have faith, and great positive people around you.
This is what I have learned from this video: Kevin Hart teaches us to stay humble no matter how successful you are. To stay cool and have good relationships with everyone you meet whether you are at a low or high in your life. To value and remember and to always keep in touch with the people who were always by your side. To not give up, whenever things are going hard. All his failures he used as a motivation to get back up on his feet. Yet he us so cool and humble. I think that’s the way someone should be. But, most importantly never stop loving or giving up on your parents. Because, at the end of the day those are your parents who brought you into this world. Without them you are absolutely nothing. So, have that gratitude and never give up on them. Support them and lift them up if they are down, just like they did to you when you were little. He is surely an inspiration to me. When they told him that comedy was not for him after doing his set. I can relate to this in a different way. I worked at an engineering firm as an electrician's helper. I was screwed with in a lot of ways. I was wiring up some panels and someone didn't like me there so he kept on pulling the wires to make me look bad. maybe teaching me at the same time but scolding me at the same time as well so it was discouraging but I just kept putting the wires back where they belong and making sure they were very tight. Then one day I was digging ditches and putting in a electric grounding system for when there is a lightening storm. it was at a jail and they a communications room with a bunch of computers and this grounding system was going to make them safe kind of like a huge surge protector. Anyways I dug a ditch that was maybe 50 yards long and 48 inches deep with help of course from one other guy while my supervisor at the time was just sitting on a hill in the shade with his sunglasses on. Keep in mind it was 103 degrees out while everyone else was working. I don't remember how we got to the next point but it was time for a lunch break and my supervisor was friendly and took me to get some pizza and I reached my wallet to pay for it and he said he's got it. Then we get into a sickening conversation about how I should do something else because he says I don't have any skill. After doing all that manual labor. Well I took that to heart. Keep in mind that I forgot to mention that everyday he would curse at me in really nasty way so this was building a big house of shit with me. I ended up quitting because of his comment and the constant abuse from him. The thing is if I had stayed I would still have to work with him and the constant abuse of him cursing at me. I was only making $10 hour so it wasn't worth it to me so I ended up quitting and I never started again. I've been wounded from that one job ever since 2008. So I haven't had a job for 12 years. I don't know. I think I went into some deep depression that I I always deny. But it's there. Sure others will say just take medication. Well my mother is depressed every single day no matter what. She is literally clinically a schizoprhrenic with other problems as well. She takes something like 15 pills every night so I've had to watch her over years with that and she suffers from it. Her mind is not her own anymore. The drugs dictate her life and she sleeps a lot because most of them are tranquilizers. She goes through manic depression every day. There is no let up. It's been like that since I was a child. She was very abusive along with my father. The least little thing they would hit me with the belt to make me scream and cry. It was a was a nightmare and only more tolerable now because I'm grown. But it has definitely damaged me. The house we live in is a huge mess. They are legitimate hoarders so if I had friend come over I wouldn't have that friend for long because no one likes filth and that's what we live in. The dogs have ruined the carpets with urine on top of that so it smells really bad here. It's hard to make them change or anything. They just don't listen. My mother told one time that she would shit on the ceiling if she wanted to while exclaiming that it was her house. She is literally that nasty. It's hell here. I've never been able to have friends or any decent relationships. Most of the time I think about just ending everything. Because I don't see a way out.
The energy it takes to be angry and to have a grudge is too much. I don’t have time for negativity. My sister has a grudge with me for 2 yrs we haven’t spoke for something very petty. I can’t give it any energy. Thanks for this video. #MzTUPOETRY #Believenation
Alright I too want to become a comdian the reason why is because I love to make people laugh and see people happy and this man is the reason why is because this man made me realize what I could do with my talent which is being funny and the thing is tho my voice sounds like I have a sore throat and but it isn't my fault because my doctor he hit my vocal cord during surgery and I just wanted to say git any tips?
My take away.. surround yourself with greatness ! Often I find myself in bad relationships romantically and friendships. Mostly because of clashing mindsets. I am loyal person with an extreme growth mindset and I find myself lowering my frequency for closed mindsets haunting my growth. This stops now! 2020 Vision.

Hey Evan I enjoy the content, I am sorry I have to say this but I have a bully who goescaroubd presenting images of me , that's not me. I am a crime victim, what it does is make people think of me differently than I am. So I don't get an authentic response. I come here to hear the content and wish everyone one the best and nothing else. Sometimes lies are easier than the truth to believe. We as humans are only as compassionate as our own experiences allow us to be. The truth at times is ugly and we have to try and wraps our brains around stuff that at times doesn't make since then the lie comes and then we say well that makes since. The truth can be a fact you never never heard of before. I am writing a book and someone stole half of it, does that make since, trying to get it published before I do. The bullies of life everyone is not nice,sometimes lies come in a three pics suit, or a friend introduced you to The lies. I also have cyber bullies who follow me all over the net, to bully me and keep the lie going it makes it hard for me to get a friend or keep one, oh they also do it in person, it's called bulling, and it's fun for many not for me tho. I had all my social networks account hacked and message sent to people that wasn't nice. So I am not shy and I don't need not want anyone to represent me in that manner. So please accuse this so sorry but love what you are doing and grateful for the content. Everyone that is in a situation is not there because they want to be. No one wants to be.
The choosing to be positive did it for me. There are psycho people out there whom you could hate the shit out of because you choose to. But you get nothing from that. I guess I'll start choosing positivity.
I agree the majority of people love to play the victim like they didn’t have a choice in their life. Quit playing the victim and take responsibility for your actions and your choices you are not a victim. You have to change your life don’t expect the govt or anybody else to do it for you. No one is coming to save you save yourself.

Her mind is not her own anymore. The drugs dictate her life and she sleeps a lot because most of them are tranquilizers. She goes through manic depression every day. There is no let up. It's been like that since I was a child. She was very abusive along with my father. The least little thing they would hit me with the belt to make me scream and cry. It was a was a nightmare and only more tolerable now because I'm grown. But it has definitely damaged me. The house we live in is a huge mess. They are legitimate hoarders so if I had friend come over I wouldn't have that friend for long because no one likes filth and that's what we live in. The dogs have ruined the carpets with urine on top of that so it smells really bad here. It's hard to make them change or anything. They just don't listen. My mother told one time that she would shit on the ceiling if she wanted to while exclaiming that it was her house. She is literally that nasty. It's hell here. I've never been able to have friends or any decent relationships. Most of the time I think about just ending everything. Because I don't see a way out.

My take away.. surround yourself with greatness ! Often I find myself in bad relationships romantically and friendships. Mostly because of clashing mindsets. Hey Evan I enjoy the content, I am sorry I have to say this but I have a bully who goescaroubd presenting images of me , that's not me. I am a crime victim, what it does is make people think of me differently than I am. So I don't get an authentic response. I come here to hear the content and wish everyone one the best and nothing else.
Sometimes lies are easier than the truth to believe. We as humans are only as compassionate as our own experiences allow us to be. The truth at times is ugly and we have to try and wraps our brains around stuff that at times doesn't make since then the lie comes and then we say well that makes since. The truth can be a fact you never never heard of before. I am writing a book and someone stole half of it, does that make since, trying to get it published before I do. The bullies of life
everyone is not nice,sometimes lies come in a three pics suit, or a friend introduced you to The lies. I also have cyber bullies who follow
me all over the net, to bully me and keep the lie going it makes it hard
for me to get a friend or keep one, oh they also do it in person, it's called bulling, and it's fun for many not for me tho. I had all my social
networks account hacked and message sent to people that wasn't nice.
So I am not shy and I don't need not want anyone to represent me in that manner. So please accuse this so sorry but love what you are doing

Quit playing the victim and take responsibility for your actions and your choices you are not a victim.
