Starling security system is not great and recently people have had their account hack and money stolen and people complained unable to recover the money lost.
I DO NOT recommend starling. When your account is under review the left hand doesn’t talk to the right and you’ll find yourself constantly repeating yourself
@@Kenneth-Egbai Sadly Yes, you cant add more than 200 a month. got about 1.3k and got interest paid of about 7 so going forward i'll get that 7 every month at min if i dont save anymore which i hope wont happen. im going to try get that 7 to 300, good cash flow

@@ChideraPetersit's not a fund. It's a Cash Isa. Unless you are referring to a fixed rate isa- in which you can only take out your money when fixed term ends. Trading 212 Cash Isa is the best in UK. 5.1% interest rate plus it's flexible. Which means that if you've put in £20k you can also withdraw 20k anytime you want and deposit it back within that tax year. You also earn daily interest.
Monzo and Revolut are both very easy to use on your phone. Monzo has the better interest rate but Revolut has lots of other interesting things and they have no charges at all abroad be it you you buying a kebab in Turkey or a Langos in Hungary they don't charge you anything so its the best to use abroad.
You are missing a trick suggesting a single current account plus other accounts. some accounts give rewards and cashback. Worth noting chase allows standing orders from their savings accounts.

I have 3 accounts Saving One where money goes in like wages And my everyday account like bills, daily use like shops and transferring funds to family or friends Also have a credit card account which is the same bank as my saving account So that could be technically 4 accounts Also in my money in account once I get the money I transfer it to my saving account but I always leave little in there for what I call emergency funds each month I leave £20 in there and it builds up so I use that money instead of my savings I also have a physical Samsung card which is like PayPal, money gets taken out from account to Samsung So that probably makes 5 accounts 😂
Like to add I have 2 pension accounts Also looked at my HMRC pension and see I have a good amount but I cannot get access to it until 2054 😂 I'm not sure how old I will be and if I will be alive
You cannot speak to someone, but you can chat with someone. They are all FSCS protected (up to 85k). Many of the challenger banks and platforms tend to not have human call centres these days. It's a trade of it seems.
Dont just buy shares and think your investing, you are not!! You need to understand how to value a company to see if you are overpaying, you need to able to read and financial statements…this will take at least 2 years to learn…it’s an absolute skill don’t be fooled…

Hi 👋🏾 yes it’s okay to close a current account, and it shouldn’t affect your credit score. It could affect your credit score if the account was reading in minus i.e. you have a negative balance

Hi 👋🏾 your credit score is great by the way! So No, you don’t need a credit card. Also there’s no requirement to have a credit card before you buy a house. Only mentioned as it’s one of the fastest way to do so. But in your case, you shouldn’t worry about it
@uwakweonyinye2857 we just make sure if there is an opportunity to pay anything in installment and it doesn't have interest then we use that option even when we have the full money. Then we did a lot of direct debit for any bills we are paying instead of just transferring it.
