Because all they care about is the frontline stuff. If you don't show politics then you ask "Why are they doing this" we rarely if ever see that in the Modern Warfare series..which i play. They do things like this in Honor Harrington all the time, actually most of it is politics....with space naval battles and terrorism in between.

It is, but the movie people would ruin it. They always think they have better ideas because "film is a real art form unlike a game". They have no idea how long it takes or how much effort goes into programming these games. They think their version is better. They really pay no respect to the original design. I guarantee the first thing they'd do is make the ISA perfect heroes, and the Helghast just plain evil since movies just HAVE TO make anything resembling Germans evil.
