I kinda get the impression that Sister Sage is setting Homelander up for his fall. It was her repeating “Like Caesar” to him. Like they both have very different images of Caesar in mind. He’s thinking about the height of his rule and she’s thinking about the fall brought on by his own hubris.

I REALLY feel like Jeffery’s character is going to be like the previous generations butcher. Like how Soldier Boy was the Homelander of the 70s, Jeffery was the Butcher of that era. That’s why he asks that Butchers team name is because Jeffery once had his own

The actor who plays the “splitting” Supe is Rob Benedict- another Supernatural alum! He played God/Chuck in the series. Love that Kripke is bringing back so many old friends!
It's also a homage to John Carpenter's "The thing" and makeup artist Rob Bottin's iconic "Split face " design from the film

I wonder if Noir is just a clone of the original Noir? They could have a bit where Homelander feels bad for killing him and so he had him cloned as his deranged way of apologizing to Noir? That would be hilarious. Homelander thinking that it makes right by bringing Noir back in that way. As if Homelander looks at it like resetting a video game and getting your character back with full health.
I've been thinking about Noir too. Could be a clone (but that would be weak, story-wise); could be Noir who regenerated (he lived after what Soldier Boy did to him in the 80s and survived explosions -ya never know); or he is just someone else in the role. Part of me wonders if it isn't a certain "Guardian" behind the mask. I kinda like that they're making us guess.

I was waiting for this video right after I watched the season 4 trailer.
I'm now inspired to find the rubicon for homelander, the point in which the die is cast and where ever it falls is how he small play his hand I cant think of a better moment for it than the murder at the end of season 3.

It’s still hilarious that Homelander wants to be like Caesar as if one of the most famous things about Caesar the his death/ the betrayal of Brutus, and that Homelanders biggest issue is disloyalty among supes

Rome was not a democracy it was a aristocracy. Also Rome did not surrender power to Caesar. He won a civil war, crossing the Rubicon and all that. Also most Greek cities were not democracies. The were mainly oligarchies
