This band has never ceased to amaze me. Continuously striking the darkest recesses of your soul, and holding true to the funeral doom metal mentality. Never compromising, never conforming, Esoteric is a phenomenal band with elite composition.
I have a million questions. but no will to ask. Through chaos. rationale speaks clearly. Decay sets in amongst the fragments... Such weight lies within knowledge. Crippled by thought. Eyes that see too much lose the will to see. And the pain that spills from these walls. Blasts through this withered body. The circle has begun. Time is not won. Losing this battle to remain. In this place. I dare not dream. For awakening the demons that will find me. Blinded by madness. Such endless probability. And I must know every thing and every thought And I must uncover all answers sought. For sleep eludes when this frustration taunts. And drives me to release. Or travel towards end. So dead inside. And all but to live on. Burning from within. Maddened eyes. Filled with boiling blood. Sullen. Grow sharper with the pain. To rest now. Until we meet again.
This sounds perfectly appropriate for the Kali Yuga we are living. This is Spiritual metal at its finest. One of the 2 most spiritual metal songs along with Maha Kali from Dissection
Precisely when you think you stop sliding the slope of madness, just to realize later that it was the moment you lost balance and fell into the pit. Absolutely brilliant.
I would kill to hear the demo version of this song again. If anyone has it and can upload it I'd be eternally grateful. As amazing as this studio versiom is, the demo was arguably stronger still. Looser, less polished and with some little flourishes that never made this final release.
Featuring one of the most ethereal and epic guitar solos of all time.

I think that this album is like the "point of no return" for the doom metal...simply amazing, deep and painful...It's like a sweet nightmare.
This is magical, Greg Chandler is a genius.
One of my most impressive concert in Brutal Assault 2007(?) or 9(?) when they were the last band of the festival. Im in love with them.❤
One of the best composition in music and Doom the whole album.
Fell into a despair and hate while listening this. Goosebumps everywhere and that small tear in eye corner waiting to fall, but it never does. Amazing
holy mother load of beautiful crushing doom! This band live are a heavenly mournful wall of sorrowful sound
❤Agree...
Favourite Song of this Band
This is my favorite Esoteric song. Beautiful.
Mine too.
Amazing interstelar horror, the best and deep band in this style
It is like you are slipping into insanity
Once this song finishes it feels like coming down from a huge introspective mushroom trip. Takes control of your life for 20 minutes.
This music seems to be for covid19 era. It makes me feel something like delirium.
Excellent music

From about 10:50 onwards is possibly my favourite moment in Doom Metal...
KaliBhakta1 More like 6:29 to around 13:00

favoris !!!
I would never dare listen to Esoteric on acid, yet I'm sure it would be an awesome experience, but it could also make me psychotic =P
Otherworldly.
Середина напомнила Dissident местами
Но тут еще злее и шизовее
Гениально
funeral doom MASTERS.
Does anybody know what is the Esoteric guitar tuning?
