Love the new trail-this is one of the best environments for scale RC’ing I’ve ever seen. All the rocks and pebbles and bits, plus the dried sticks and twigs, look 1/1 scale in relation to the Land Cruiser. Soil is so fine and powdery you can leave tracks in it. It’s like an art form....
cool soundtrack, david! 😎😎😎 the 80 series did well on the hill considering its size and weight. i think its the driver's skill that made it on top of the hill. 😁😁 put the gladiator on hold and do some mods on this rig. can't wait for your mods/customs/prints on the 80 series 😊😊
While I tend to think less music is more, his music choices are pleasantly low-key and just background noise (we can still hear the environment & whine of the truck motor, etc), unlike some other RC channels which run some bass heavy techno music over everything, blehh 🤮
Love the sport accessories bro, makes it look more authentic to the trails.. cant wait for more videos of this beast!! And cant wait to see if it stays like it is or if it gets modded.. only one thing wrong with it tho,,,, its not mine 😂😂 well done brother another awesome job 😎👍🏻🏆
Can you have the tires even softer than that... or adding weight to the truck is better? Man i love these models... might be shifting to these from the military ones.
It really depends what your needs are. There are a lot of good tires but I usually just run the WPL kit tires. They work for general trailing around. You can seach for 1.3 inch wheels and find some tires to fit. Also MN model kit tires work well but dont fit regular wheels unfortunately.
@yesiamzamek been running the RCAWD Revolver beadlock wheels. You need a 5mm to 7mm adapter. I 3d printed my adapters, but I'm sure you can find them for sale.
You can run 3s with the wpl V3 esc if you need more power. I was ok with the power it had considering I was climbing the whole time. Thanks for stopping by!
That body looks so cool. I have a WPL C 24, so, you're telling me that body will fit right on it? I already upgraded my C24 with T-Best metal wheels, and taller, wider, tires with an aggressive tread. The plastic driveshafts on the C24 are a very weak point, I broke both drive shafts within the first hour of running this rig. I upgraded to metal driveshafts. I painted the spokes on these rims gold, and left the outer ring silver. I think I will paint the body metal flake purple, instead of leaving it white. The C24 is not a good quality R/C. It's actually cheap crap, I paid $64.99 shipped to my house. The body is nice but it's not going to make up for all the electronic shortcomings. It could use a better servo, it steers like shit. It can use a new ESC,, like a Hobbywing 1080. And a brushes motor. The stock motor is a slow piece of turd. I don't believe in paying for something, and then having to spend more money, to make it right, it should be right from the factory. But it's cheap garbage.
yes it was made to be a option body for the c24/14. In fact they are only planning to sell this body and not have a kit of it anymore. The thing with WPL is it started as a toy. Then the interest from hobbyist got the attention of WPL and now they make upgraded versions called KM kits of these. Those are the only WPLs I recommend. They are cheap and fun for what they are. I have no complaints with my WPLs because I know what they are/ what I'm getting in to and I like making them perform. That's whats cool about the hobby we are all into it in a different form or another. Some like brand names, some like the challenge of making toy grade a good RC and some just like to be different. Doesn't matter how good a RC is people are going to mess with it. I just RC and whatever I run is because I like it and I'm never worried what people think. They are all toys in the end.
@@RunThatRC That's cool, I'm not worried about what people think either. People call my RC's toys also, and is not true, they are high-tech. Maybe the upgraded version of the WPL is better than the very first version which I have, bought it over a year ago. I just don't feel like putting any more money into it, don't know if it's worth it. Can't make a purse out of a sows ear.

Great video and thank you for always bringing awesome content!
Thanks for stopping by!
These little trucks always struggle on scree David, you did well getting up that hill.
True, and while he struggles he doesn’t stop then restart the video (with an edit or a cut scene), he powers thru it, or tries another track.
It was a fun run for me. Nothing like a new challenge!
Very nice trail. That Body-Shell looks realy good. 👍👍
its a great litte body. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks! Glad you like it. I do enjoy running in these kind of environments. I had fun on this new trail.
Sweet crawling WPL 💯👍
Another great video, always great content
Thanks I appreciate it!
Well made vid, great looking rig. I have a c54 body on its way to me cant wait.
You better paint yours and do it right. Lol
@@Hjerte_Verke ye going to m8, not sure on colour to paint it. Thinking maybe a gunmetal grey, still looking at colours though. 😜
Very nice 👍 great video a very cool climb
thanks! It was a fun section I haven't done.
Cool bro! Looks good for its scale.

Glad you liked it!
Nice car, nice video bosquee👍👍
thanks for stopping by!
Nice content 😍
Good RC wpl
Thanks for stopping by!
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍 nice wpl c54 friend...🤤🤤
Man, that was a pretty tough climb!
It looks savage for sure. He should bring an inclinometer (is that a thing?) and show us the angle of the slope he is traversing...🤓
It was a fun one!
@@Hjerte_Verke yeah funny thing is I did want to do that with the built in one on my phone but always forget to do it.
cool soundtrack, david! 😎😎😎

I will see where these builds go. Fun truck as is just needs to sit a little lower and maybe some mods.
I hope to see thin on MN tires
Nah man, those tires are the newest-of-the-new WPL tires 😎
Edit: on second thought, the tires look like they don’t have enough teeth.
@@Hjerte_Verke yeah i know. But mn is more capable
These tires aren't bad. The mn kit tires aren't that good in wet rocky conditions but are good dry weather tires.

some minor modes in the future for sure. Still haven't tested the springs the C54 came with. I'm running full c24km under there.
Can you have the tires even softer than that... or adding weight to the truck is better? Man i love these models... might be shifting to these from the military ones.
They are pretty soft. Any softer then foams will probably be necessary.
It would look nice with a paint job and some weathering
I agree. Time to do a custom paint job and... add a driver figure. 🤓
What are the best wheels and tires for this car? Could you drop a link?

@@RunThatRC I will keep V4 tires but what metal wheels do you recommend!
@yesiamzamek been running the RCAWD Revolver beadlock wheels. You need a 5mm to 7mm adapter. I 3d printed my adapters, but I'm sure you can find them for sale.
Sport setup? What do you mean?
It’s just body details; the side bars on the front fenders, different bumper and grille (I think).
The sport setup is just a trail bumper with Brush guard and fender rails, roof rack with ladder and a different front end.
@@RunThatRC Ah. The C54-1 then
You put the foam in the tires????
No only the WPL wheel weights.
What motor are you running?
Stock 370 motor with 2 speed that's included in KM kits.
Nice! Thanks!
Un poco de power
You can run 3s with the wpl V3 esc if you need more power. I was ok with the power it had considering I was climbing the whole time. Thanks for stopping by!
What tires?
these are the new WPL wheels and tires. Check them out on the official website. link in description box.
Can this tires be used with wpl c14?
