The only thing that could make percussion sounds is Brains but I don't think it was in percussion mode. What made the creepy, ghost footstep sounds and the other percussion noise?
The percussion sounds are from the VOLCA FM, it’s a small 3-notes sequence with a sharp attack and some delay! The creepy noises comes from the Brains with just some random notes from the sequencer, some filter just to cut out the highs and a noisy delay
there is a real comfort and compassion here in the simplicity and elegance of the setup and the piece
