I do have to say that Kevin can really lay down a pretty coat of urethane. This comes from a lifetime automotive painter who has painted thousands of cars. Beautiful flow Kevin! Looking fantastic!
On my 16th birthday my father surprised me with a 49 Willys CJ 3B. My first and favorite car. Drove it for years, while at college my younger brother traded off. Watching your three shows brought back a lot of fond memories spent with that jeep, and a few tears. I'm 63 yrs old now, and missing my youth. I think will build a Jeep. Thank you for the inspiration. I'll be in touch.
Randy's such a nice guy, he's always ready to help, and the camera selfie made me spit my wobbly pop. Fun video of an old jeep build with good Philippines body parts.
Marvellous paint job on that little Jeep. You guys never cease to amaze me at the quality of your work. Clint's knowledge is quite outstanding and he sets a standard they all follow.
Of course there's the business side but a very important component that seems to help it all work well and appeals to probably most viewers is the genuine family atmosphere which invites the rest of us to come along.
It's a beauty Jay and a top notch job done by everyone involved too. Cheers for taking us along the journey bro. The whole staff will want one now. Safe travels
This rebuild brought back a lot of memories of when we did our Mini Cooper S. More or less the same colour, 'British Racing Green'. Good fun and well done.
Poor Randy lol.. Poor spammers... Poor Jay... My poor sides lmao .... what a barmy packed video with everything thrown in.. snowballs included! What an awesome mini series and a beautiful kit build. Thanks for sharing as always
I thought it looked a little bit like the Bronze Green the British Army used on their Land Rovers before they went with NATO camouflage in the 80s but I'm thinking you're right - British Racing Green is brighter than Bronze Green.
Seeing Clint painting proves what I've said to you before. You keep Kevin around for comic relief 😜😜😜 JK. Great job on the paint Kevin 😂😂😂😂😂 I slay me as my littlest would say. I hope this gave a chuckle 🤭🤭 and if not build a bridge and get over it 🤣🤣🤣. I mean no disrespect just a bit of a smatarse. As always good luck and God bless and stay safe out there.
Clint, you've got some very interesting projects there, sir. Your channel was recommended by Dirt Perfect and Capt. Kleeman. I just watched your auction videos; man, you really know your stuff.
Have learned tons from Clinton about the undercarriage of heavy equipment and what to look for when buying. Funny thing is, I'll never buy any in my life, but it's still cool just knowing, lol.
Great Job! That is a sweet looking Jeep. Looks like you guys had a great time putting it together too. Color, tires, ragtop, seats and all the correct gauges and details. Hope it gives you many years of fun.
Bill Maudlin's book "Up Front", a collection of his cartoons for the Army newspaper in WW2 detailing the experiences of Willey and Joe. One of the cartoons was of an old Cavalry sergeant whose Jeep had a broken front axle and he was going to put it out of its misery by shooting the radiator. Very sad.
Being wounded in Italy aside, Bill Mauldin had a pretty sweet gig during the war. He was given a jeep and had the autonomy to roam around the battlespace to get the source material for the 6 cartoons per week he put out in Stars and Stripes. He was a hero to the guys in the infantry because he accurately portrayed their lives at the sharp end in the blood and the mud. Willie and Joe were stoic and unstoppable with a good sense of gallows humor (like all infantrymen). Patton hated Bill Mauldin for the fun he poked at regulations most of the infantry saw as ridiculous and threatened to cancel Willie and Joe until General Eisenhower stepped in and told Patton to leave the guy alone!
Nice built. Brings back memories of my late father in law that had lots of funny stories about driving those in WW2 and Vietnam. Yes he only shared the funny stuff and never talked about being a Marine on Wake Island and a POW.
The Jeep turned out awesome Clint. It kinda reminds me of the ole military jeeps used during WWII. They could go through just about anything. Great video….
Hand turn signals: In Vietnam when driving the M151 through Saigon, one learned quickly to wear your watch on your right wrist. Wear it on your left, signal a turn, and your watch disappeared!
The jeep turned out just awesome, nice work guys. Makes me want to go out and work on my jeep, oh, it's snowing again maybe later. Thanks guys for the great video.
Kevin 🤟 Sup? Da Ham the Jeep looks good, nice job of painting it Kevin. Randy was chomping at the bit to get to be the cameraman. I could see his mouth watered like looking a finely cooked steak. 🥩 Shoot now I'm hungry. I like wiring but it can get a bit frustrating 😤 at times. SNOW? 😱WTF? Hope it melts off fast. Not my Jeep! .... Kevin's mantra Ohmmmmmmm, Nooooot myyyyyy Jeep... nice seats ... Thanks for the video
Great build, really enjoyed the video. Thank you very much. I was lucky enough to drive a wartime jeep belonging to a friend of a friend, lovely little thing. I can see why people like them so much. They’ve got very expensive in England now.
Very cool Jeep guys. Love the color. Like British Racing Green colors. Smooth running flathead 4. I would've went with steel white colored wagon wheels.Great job on the build. Treat it right & it'll last another 65 years.
Nice job team C&C! Looks like you all had some fun and it was nice to see this as a customer who has purchased parts for my CJ3B from you. Aloha from Kauai
I do have to say that Kevin can really lay down a pretty coat of urethane. This comes from a lifetime automotive painter who has painted thousands of cars. Beautiful flow Kevin! Looking fantastic!
I spent 26 years in the Army and those can be a ball on a Dirt bike trail! Trust me I know!
I can't get over how nice those little jeeps are, and the color Jay went with is perfect. Cool build guy's I'm sure we all enjoyed antics.

Back when Jeep really stood for Just Enough Essential Parts, and you could afford one. Those CJ2s are cool little rigs.
Marvellous paint job on that little Jeep. You guys never cease to amaze me at the quality of your work. Clint's knowledge is quite outstanding and he sets a standard they all follow.

Me: You damn sure did...always do!!
It's a beauty Jay and a top notch job done by everyone involved too. Cheers for taking us along the journey bro. The whole staff will want one now. Safe travels
That is a shiny 4 star general's jeep, that Patton would have been proud of.
Nice little Willys!! Wish I could afford one.

I like it. Too nice to drive. Great job.😮😮😮😮

Hope Jay decides to take the Jeep to car shows. You all did a great job on it and it deserves to be seen.
I would hate to be the one that puts the first scratch on that paint job! Great work.

Clint, you can buy the old turn signal kits at most auto parts stores. They are still used in many older/newer semi's or logging trucks. 😊

I know the hand signals, it was part of my driving test in NYS back in the late 60's, also, my 1952 Harley G model servi-car doesn't have signals.
